Day with Elle-May

Audrey and I got to spend the day meeting and shooting with Elle-may.

New Monday plans 🤪 aka ElleMay shenanigans episode 287... This adorably cute knuckle head decided she wanted to go into heat... 2 days before our trip 🤦🏻‍♀️. She had dug herself outside the fence to frolic with the neighbors dog and lost both collars. So not being able to get her back in the way she got out, I got the harness and leash and walked around the property since u can’t climb over this fence. Then hiked through the thicket of woods to the back of the property where she was playing with other dog and dangit she was back INSIDE the fence!!! 🤪 So seeing me outside trying to patch the previous hole with fallen trees and rocks she dives under another hole she and the neighbor had been working on and got stuck. Lol I tried to put the harness on her while I had her in my grasp but couldn’t reach it around her bc the fence 🤪. Now if you have a bloodhound u know that their skin and body are not attached lol so I could neither put her in or pull her out. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ finally I had to help her dig through with a shovel forward through fence (down hill) and into the paws of the neighbors dog lol. 🤪 Couldn’t just take her home or his live sick self would have followed! So Had to go knocking on their door to ask them to help me separate the two so I could get her home and put up. Lol the love potion was strong with these two for sure! I’m not sure if they got “married” or not but if so I guess we will find out. Sheesh! The kick in the pants too is that We planned on getting her fixed next week after our trip too!
