Happy 75th, Ellen Foley
You may remember her from Night Court, but I'll always think of her as the female vocalist on my favorite album, Meat Loaf's Bat Out of Hell.
I've put so much stock into recreating Christine's looks that I completely neglected Billie. Look at this beautiful jacket! I think I can find something in that shade and add those awesome buttons.

bit of a gripe w the caption... ellen has always been much more than just "meat loaf's backing singer"
Ellen Foley dated Mick Jones after meeting in London in 1980, and became a part of The Clash entourage for nearly 2 years. She appeared with The Clash in Martin Scorsese's 'The King Of Comedy' filmed during their Bonds residency. 'Should I Stay or Should I Go' was written by Jones about their relationship. Back to '77. Foley was hired to provide vocals for Meat Loaf's 'Bat Out of Hell' LP to include 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light'. She decided against going on tour after the release of 'Bat Out of Hell' and was replaced by Karla DeVito. DeVito is in the music video, but is lip-synching to Foley's vocals. Foley was on the TV show 'Night Court' from '84-'85 ๐ค #theclash #mickjones
