Much hammered sounding of the body
yammas on a site of conflict,
in sight of something stressed.
The plastic, elastic body. The fold of the animal body awkward against intelligence, those Kantian erotic tastes of Bataille and early Funkadelic.
Free your ass (but from what?), and so on, and so on...
There's labour in that assumption, in those plastic forms that can't be broken though they can be melted down into so much labour power. However in doing so the material changed so much as to be indescribable, that stacked curse of the eternal return, over and over and different every time.
Aren't bodies just evidence of recording?
The futility of borders to obliterate texts, to blacken margins is true also when the text is an arm, a leg, an oxbow lake, a strawberry patch.
Beyond language and signs can be heard the unstable perimeter patter of recycled matter, wandering suckers.
So how much of you is still and how much can be recalled.
Categorical distinctions between bodies are perhaps just more work for the adding machine. A sea of numbers, of plastic shreds, hyrdocarbons of various bonds stacked up.
The great body of water, that body without organs if only all its organs would just stay dead instead of rising again.
And again all that sea water walking around, all those otoliths washing out to make the bed.
B said “what matter who's speaking” and then later “there must be a body, as of old, I don't deny it” and later still “with a cluther of limbs and organs, all that is needed to live again, to hold out a little time”.

Bodies of water, Bodies of sound, Bodies of stuff. All started and stirring.
