-Short Election Anxiety Break-- Late in 2018 I was asked by Jeremy to photograph at one of the New Music Circles events. The show was of the composer Ellen Fullman. I did not know Ellen’s work and photographing her and her set up was truly a amazing sight. I’m not the biggest music aficionado but I found the event to be very meditative and calming. The droning of the long strings that stretched across the floor of the 560 Music Center it felt surreal. I’ve been thinking about her music lately with our current climate and this pandemic. I was emailed earlier this year by the photo editor Jessie Wender at the NYT about using a photo from that night for a story about Ellen. I was very excited. This was my first time having a photo in the NYT and seems like a small milestone for me.
