'sad.' is a concept created early this year. It is an absurdist show taking place in the town of Marose, seemingly normal despite its constantly shifting location. It centers around nine characters, connected through convoluted ties and odd personalities.
Kelp Perovski- A twenty-one year old genius running a lab of his own. He treats his robot, Cap, like a little brother. A little morally grey, doesn't have much trouble creating 'illicit substances for recreational needs'. Would rather be listening to Swedish hip-hop or watching 'Galaxy Run'. Always wears his goggles and a pair of e=mc² pajamas under his lab coat. Probably stores some bricks in his afro.
Cap- Kelp's creation. Works at a pizza delivery place. Seems to be nineteen, but is only a little over two. His robotic body always seems to be shifting in size. Emotes through the 'eyes' on his visor. Gives out free pizza to his friends, which are really just Kelp's friends. Trying his Best.
Ecstasy Exodus- Twenty-five and a half. Somewhat of a druggie. Would prefer to spend most of her time painting or eating Retos or other snack food. Occasionally lives in the facade of a dumpster, but likes freeloading in Woe's apartment instead. Might as well be dating the girl. Wears a ton of bangles and triangular glasses. Not quite sure of the difference between fiction and reality anymore.
Ten Centenary- An inter dimensional deity of age unknown. Manages a multicultural restaurant using her telekinesis and the help of a single assistant. Can undoubtedly make empanadas and play Monopoly at the same time. Wears an odd rectangular pair of sunglasses. It's possible her eyes contain the light of the cosmos.
Woe Turabagajadaga- This twenty-six year old poet doesn't put their last name one books. She lives with Ecstasy in a first-floor two-bedroom apartment. Despite having a room to herself, Woe mostly uses it to store drafts and knickknacks. Might be described as a 'hoarder' and a 'shut-in'. Travels mainly through tunnels, but won't leave the residence without an umbrella. Lives mostly on delivery pizza and fantasy Blue Apron. No one's ever seen Woe's eyes, either, but it's probably because her glasses are so cloudy.
Krugg Cephale- A super-evolved caveman brought to this time by a crab with a time machine. No one knows how this works. But since he's a nice guy, no one really bothers asking. Krugg speaks eloquently, but is only heard as 'Me Krugg'. Runs a bookstore and drives a motorcycle. Lives only on coffee, lobster, and vitamin C pills. More or less twenty-five. What the hell?
Supfill Macdane- A garbage man with a penchant for collecting metaphysical items. Lives on the edge of town with his collection of abstract knickknacks and his theoretical cat, Abraham. At twenty-seven, his main hobbies are listening to the rain and dreams. If you lost a loved one, he's got their remnants in a jar somewhere. Maybe if you bring enough soda into that dreamcatcher filled house of his, he'll show you what's behind those thick green glasses.
Brian Perovski (Darklove Lovedark)- A werewolf who changed his name and started to run a nightclub. Roughly the human age of nineteen. Turned from a wolf to a teenager by Kelp, and is a little bitter about that. Oh, well. He'll tango it away.
Ellie Westerphon- Ten's assistant, living in Krugg's basement. Where'd she come from again? Apparently eighteen. Into corn flakes and soft girls.
Dorks.
