I'm probably an idiot and forgot, but do you know where they say in the show that Maggie is Latina? I thought she was like everyone else, but I don't remember them actually saying so in the show. I know the character is white in the comics, which is why I'm confused about the whole "casting an Italian in a Latina role." (Trust me, not defending this, I just can't remember lol.)
Nonono, I...I think the problem here has been the fandom and that we jumped to conclusions too fast, cause I remember maggie saying she was non-white but don’t remember her saying she was latina. I think the thing is, everyone thought maggie was latina because she’s non white skinned, and apparently everyone thinks a latina/o is tanned.
