“I didn’t hear you leave the hotel room this morning,” Elliot said, quietly so the rest of the team couldn't hear.
Elliot looked out the window, then back to the person sitting next to her. “I think we’re on the same time schedule.” She said to the stranger. They had been taking the bus at the same time for a few weeks now, but hadn’t talked until that moment.
“At the airport!” Elliot said to her phone, before turning the camera on the other. “Do you have anything to say about our early morning?” She asked them. They had gotten up at 4am in order to catch the plane.
“Are you trying to flirt with me?”
“Do you even know where we’re going?” Elliot laughed as they made a turn onto a street that they had already been on.
“You honestly think you could beat me in a race?”
“Yeah, people are usually surprised when they learn that I need glasses.”
