This has probably been pointed out before but I was rewatching Thor and when he pronounces “Hubble” (Hubble space telescope) as “Hoo-ble”, I actually realized that it made sense for him.

In Norwegian and Swedish and most Scandinavian languages, “u” is very often pronounced as “oo”. So Thor was pronouncing it how he was used to

(For the record: the only languages I’m taking seriously are norwegian, japanese, and welsh. I have fifteen other languages on my duolingo that just kinda... sit there)
