character wise I don’t like to play favorites but Yvette is kind of the funniest conceptually in my opinion.

girl who grew up in dragonsbreath keep (ruled by an Actual Minor God) half-raised by lizorra (the court soulmage, in contact with an amulet containing a sort of folk goddess) and best friends with sidra (demigoddess of sorts), leaves town to chase her fortune, almost dies in a cave-in, gets saved by hecate (Yet Another Goddess, Goddess of Magic) and effectively blessed by her (and also they’re dating), and decides that everyone else has had their fun with divinity it’s Her turn now. and she starts pretending to be the reincarnation of irasibil (one of two Big Head Gods).

it’s like if hercules had a gay best friend who dated a goddess and decided to clout chase by pretending to be Cronus reborn. awesome

thinking about him (lord artemy dragonsbreath) and his awful fashion sense... methinks its all very opulent and ornamental, he's Your Godking and you'll know it immediately, historically hes had a lot of black and gold because like, thats also just what He Looks Like (golden hair/ear feather things, black sclerae).

but also, there's a lot of like pseudo military regalia! he looks almost like a very fancied-up general on parade despite the fact that he's been in like, maybe five fights over the several hundred years hes been alive 😊 because he's a god of war, but he doesn't Fight in wars, he just starts them 🤭 so he benefits from glorifying and glamorizing it at any given point 😍 he's probably got like, a velvety-looking sash with a bunch of medals pinned to it that if you know your history you know that he did Nawt earn... king of stolen valor fr 💔💔💔
