Omg, I'm so happy you do request for Willow, thanks.
So I was thinking of something with Elora, where reader goes with her to save her boyfriend being her best friend, who absolutely is having a crush on her, and will do everything to make her happy again.
Sorry if it's a lame request, but thank you anyway 😄😄

——————————
Elora Danan had never been good at hiding her emotions. Not really. When she was happy, it spilled out of her in soft laughter and nervous smiles. When she was scared, it lived in her eyes. And now - now that Airk had been taken by the Crone - her grief sat heavy on her shoulders like armor she couldn’t take off.
You walked beside her through the forest, matching her pace without speaking. You’d learned that silence worked better than platitudes when Elora was like this. She’d invited you to come with her without hesitation, like it was the most natural thing in the world. You were her best friend. Of course you’d come.
Of course you would risk everything.
Even if every step forward hurt.
Elora’s hands trembled as she tightened her grip on your hand. “I should’ve stopped him,” she muttered. “I should’ve-”
“Hey,” you interrupted gently. “This isn’t on you.”
She looked at you then, really looked at you. “What if we’re too late?”
You swallowed. The thought terrified you too, but for different reasons. “Then we’ll deal with it together.”
Elora nodded, drawing strength from your steadiness, from the fact that you were still here. You always were.
The truth sat in your chest like a quiet ache: you were in love with her.
You’d known it long before Airk. Before she’d looked at him the way she used to look at the horizon - hopeful, longing, sure of something better waiting just out of reach. And when she’d fallen for him, you’d smiled and swallowed it down, because that’s what you did. You loved her enough to want her happy, even if that happiness didn’t include you.
So when she cried at night, you stayed awake.
When fear overtook her, you grounded her.
When doubt crept in, you reminded her who she was.
And when she said, “I need to save him,” you said, “I’m coming with you,” without hesitation.
The City was everything you expected: twisted, cold, wrong in a way that made your skin crawl. Elora’s breathing grew a bit shallow as you moved deeper inside, and without thinking, you reached for her hand.
She squeezed back immediately.
“Don’t let go,” she whispered.
“I won’t,” you said - and you meant it in more ways than one.
She laughed through tears when Airk stirred after fighting with Kit and Jade. Laughed. You’d missed that sound.
And gods, it hurt.
You stood back, giving them space, watching the way she cupped his face, the way her voice softened when she spoke his name. Something in your chest fractured quietly - but you didn’t regret it. Not really.
Because she was smiling again.
The journey back was quieter.
Elora walked between you and Airk, still holding your hand with one and his with the other. Like she needed both of you to stay standing. At one point, she leaned closer to you and murmured, “I couldn’t have done this without you.”
You smiled, even though your throat burned. “I know.”
Later, when Airk was asleep and the fire crackled low, Elora sat beside you, shoulder brushing yours. “I don’t know how to thank you,” she said softly. “You gave up so much for me.”
You looked at her then - really looked at her - and for a moment, you thought about telling her. About finally letting the truth breathe.
But you didn’t.
Instead, you said, “You don’t owe me anything. Seeing you happy is enough.”
She frowned slightly, like she sensed there was more, but then she smiled and rested her head against your shoulder. “Thank you for being my best friend,” she said quietly.
You closed your eyes, letting the warmth of her settle into you, even as it hurt.
And you loved her quietly.
Enough to save the boy she loved.
Enough to step back.
Enough to stay.
