Kaeya tries to help with the confusion on the other man's face, respectfully lowering his eye. ' More like disgregated, ' is offered in lieu of an explanation to someone who's clearly trying to logically explain how in the fuck Kaeya is missing half of his chest, and is still not only alive, but unpertubed by the loss.
' A very strong impact or damage suffered makes whatever part of me was hit essentially disunite in smaller parts to avoid further damage that could become unfixable, ' Kaeya explains, index finger rising to point at the floating, gray particles suspended around him. ' In fact! Part of my arm is here, here and also here- '
A pause.
' Oh, ' he's pointing straight at Ratio. ' And near your ear, too. '

" the genuine curiosity presented in those aureate orbs of hers spelled how she indeed had something to ask him. something that apparently had been on her mind if a thick book about old myths from various cultures was any hint to this inquiry of hers. " why is it that whenever a sacrifice is needed, it's always a maiden ? is there a reason for it ? " what did one's virginity has to do with being suitable sacrifice ?

𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍, someone grabbing her chin like this without warning would have resulted in the offender being flattened with the end of her baseball bat. As it stands, Dr. Ratio is lucky that Stelle is a little too out of it to react just so. Throbbing pain squeezes at her temples and reverberates around the back of her skull. Dark spots dance in her vision and threaten to plunge her into complete unconsciousness. It's only Dr. Ratio, stern but steady, keeping her anchored and awake.
She can hear March fretting in the background, but can't make out what she's saying; only recognises it's her from the high-pitched tone of her voice. Even Dan Heng's words sound garbled as she makes out splashes of green and black in her blurred vision. Only two words stick out.
Concussion. Stay.
It's supposed to mean something. She knows it is, but Stelle can't make sense of anything in this state. She's so tired. Can't they just let her rest?

“Doctor, if you would be so humble as to provide me with a modicum of your time, do enlighten me with your ever-desired thoughts and opinions,” Kaeya began as he looked over the program of the upcoming events to be held within Penacony, hosted by none other than the Iris Family. His tone was completely lacking any hint of mockery, yet it still toed the line of being terribly dramatical and absolutely exaggerated while a smile played upon his lips, as though he found the highest form of entertainment.
“When it comes to the arts, some would argue that they are the foundations upon which self-discovery, creativity, literacy, and emotional intelligence are built; without the arts, we would lack connection and effective communication across spoken languages. However, there are those who argue otherwise and deem the arts unnecessary in the grand scheme of things, solely focusing upon the evolution of mankind in the pursuit of knowledge, logic, and understanding of the origins of the universe itself through cold calculations and topics that would benefit from more scientific or mathematical approaches.
“Now, considering our excursion to the adult entertainment museum and your thorough critiques on the exhibits displayed, my current assumption is that you’re part of the latter side of the argument. However, I would love to hear your actual beliefs on the whole debacle through your own words, rather than rely on my own perception of a one-off experience.”
Grinning, he lifted his gaze from the pamphlet he held, his gaze ever curious and twinkling with a hint of mirth, eager to pick at the brain of the Intelligentsia Guild member.
“All those embellished words just so I can have a better, unfiltered understanding of your grand wisdom. I would be truly grateful if you would indulge me.”

03. do you prefer to write in silence , or with music / background noise ?
i honestly don't know how people write with music or the tv going. i literally have to have silence, or at the most some steady white noise like a fan, to keep me focused. anything else is a huge distraction.
08. what time of day do you feel you create your best work ?
late afternoon to evening. though i've been struggling with keeping steady writing inspiration for a few years now. i don't write nearly as much as i want to or used to.
31. what hobbies do you have outside of roleplaying ?
gaming! im into a few different games outside of hsr. particularly, im into mobile otome games like love and deepspace, or dress up gachas like the nikki series or life makeover. i also really like cozy design games. right now im really into garden joy, which is basically a fun little mobile game that lets you create garden/landscape scenes. aside from gaming, i enjoy reading even if i don't do as much of that recently; and listening to music. i have.... an unhealthy amount of songs in my spotify library and my wrapped stats for listening minutes always end up being insane. skljdgklsdjg
