Sorry about my silly questions, in this year's New Year's Concert, I heard Children's Chorus in "Auf Ferienreisen, Polka schnell", and I was confuse these lyrics were sang in German or Italian? Besides, I have the same confusion when I watched "Tritsch-Tratsch, Polka" in 2012 New Year's Concert. By the way, if I bought the Concert's Blu-ray, could I get these lyric? Thx!

Hi, I think the lyrics were sung in German?… Anyway this year I couldn’t watch the entire concert (I have a recording but still didn’t have the time…).

I can’t find information about subtitles for the blu-ray (or the dvd, for that matter) yet. I’m sorry if this isn’t helpful.

Excuse me, I don't understand a English word in Max's Line. In iTV-JNH Ep.3, at 26:40, Max said :"Just don't listen to Robert, if he starts giving you any ackamarackus.", so what is "ackamarackus" mean? I can not find this word in urban dictionary, maybe something unbelievable and fantastic?

Ackamarackus is just another word for “Nonsense”. Max were talking about supernaturals, ghouls, and demons because he doesn’t believe in it, he feels that it’s just nonsense and that Robert was being ridiculous. It’s not a real word, just sounds as ridiculous as the other person is being.

When I watched the video "[더뮤지컬] '두 도시 이야기' 하이라이트 2부" from "magazinethemusical" channel on Youtube, I saw three cute musical roles on copyright clip, the first was Phantom and the last was Jekyll/ HYDE. But I didn't know who was that green face? Maybe from "Wicked"?

That’s ‘Toxie’, a character from a musical called ‘Toxic Avenger’(Korean title was 톡식 히어로’Toxic Hero’), which is an off-Broadway musical premiered in 2009. The Korean production was premiered in 2010.

Could you please describe the "First Transformation" and "Confrontation" in J&H Turku Version? Are they the same as 97' Broadway version? I am so curious about that...

I don’t really know anything about other versions of Jekyll & Hyde than the Finnish one, so I’m afraid I’m not the best person to answer this one. If some fellow Finnish J&H fan knows how the Turku production compares to Broadway, let us know!

Anyway, a little about the scenes…

First Transformation – you can see a short clip from this scene in the production’s trailer at 0:06.

I don’t really know what to say about this one..? I think the most memorable moment was when the actual transformation happened: lots and lots of smoke fell on Jekyll from the ceiling, and with the blue lights, it was a really striking visual. Other than that… Some tricks with the chemicals like the liquid changing colours, and a lot of rolling on the floor in pain when the effects kicked in.

Confrontation – I’m under the impression that people have been a bit confused about the Finnish Confrontation, seeing our Jekyll hasn’t got hair, so no wig tricks… Here, the colour of the lights and the general direction the actor was facing were used to tell if it’s Jekyll or Hyde singing (apart from differences in voice/acting, of course!).

There was a very neat moment near the end of the song where, by rabidly switching poses, Nieminen made it seem like Hyde is kind of physically threatening/almost strangling Jekyll. It’s hard to describe, but it looked great live!
