Had to come on here and reblog cute westallen edits as a palate cleanser because the Iris hate I keep running into on other social media is really upsetting. 😑😑

It's so random and vitriolic too. It will be a random post on Threads, and then allll the haters come in the comments. Or, more recently, a cute Instagram reel about Barry Allen being a yearner suddenly attracting all the Iris haters.

And what for? Are people really that pressed about Iris saying "We are the Flash" in that one episode? For what reason??? And then other people claiming that Barry had "no chemistry" with her, or "chemistry with everyone else but Iris"...on a simple reel that talked about how cute Westallen is. Why do people feel the need to spread their hate (and believe me, plenty of these comments were actually hateful, aka calling Iris "the worst person ever", etc.) on random posts?

"Man I thought Boruto was bad but Yashahime really takes the cake."

"Yashahime and Boruto are both horrible sequels that shouldn't exist!"

Okay, personal opinion obviously but putting Boruto in the same category as Yashahime is kinda disingenuous to me.

Boruto had the decency of remembering who the main character of the previous series was, and making the children of said main character actually central to several of the storylines.

Boruto actually provided material and episodes especially featuring the side couples of the original series and their children.

Boruto did not forget the relationships and friendships of the original cast, and continues to reflect said relationships and friendships in the sequel as well.

Boruto ESPECIALLY didn't encourage or bait the fandom with an inappropriate relationship between a kid and an adult (so far as I know).

Boruto and Yashahime are NOT the same.

Sometimes I rethink S7 of GOT.

And though I still love Jonerys as a ship, I seriously wish that when Jon Snow had the nerve to come up to Dragonstone and demand Daenerys' help with fighting against The Others, with NO offer WHATSOEVER of reciprocating her support with ANYTHING (food, money, support in her war effort, submission of the North, etc.), Daenerys just laughed him off the island like the entitled little prick he was acting.

And I will never forgive the narrative for trying to portray DAENERYS as the unreasonable one for:

Not immediately believing in The Others

Not immediately giving Jon her support

Having the NERVE to use her dragons in war

You know what I think? I think the viewers AND the writers all knew that unless Dany was "nerfed", she could have won Westeros in the first episode of S7. Thats why they made her listen to her (STUPID) advisors, lose one of her dragons bc Jon Snow took a stupid vacation beyond the wall, and "calm down" her use of her dragons by only using them in like one battle that season. They really tried everything to make her fail, and I still seethe with anger thinking about it.

I kinda just wanna write a drabble/fic where Daenerys reads Jon Snow for filth when he tries to get support in that ridiculous manner.

You’re so right and valid and I’m so tired of people acting like anyone who ships anything other than like kl@ve in tua are the worst people to ever live.

Thanks friend for the Allison x Luther solidarity. ^^ I agree that people really need to take a chill pill when it comes to that ship and:

1) Stop making up additional reasons why it is allegedly problematic ("LuThEr is PrEdaTOrY")

2) Whenever claiming "Gerard Way the creator claimed it was weird in an interview!!11!!" cite the rest of said interview where the co-writer of the series described how the writers came to the conclusion that it WASN'T incest due to the circumstances (not blood-related, not raised in familial environment, etc.)

3) Just let people ship said ship and stop coming onto the tags to scream at shippers about how evil they are. Seriously. Just stay in your lane and leave us alone.

Sorry for the rant, just still mad that I cant even go on the tag to enjoy my ship.

I understand that people also ship FiveYa and Klaus x Diego. I personally enjoy those ships more as brotps. What's my solution to this? Shrug and go on my merry way. IT AINT THAT HARD, PEOPLE.

A stupid j0nsa/s4nsa post on my dash had the nerve to say that S4nsa is the "best character" on GoT because just like historically influential women (Eleanor of Aquitaine, Elizabeth of York, etc.) she "didn't have magic to help her out."
