So I didn't preorder "Heavenly Tyrant" by @xiranjayzhao because of the delays, I just decided that I'd get it online or in person when it was released.

I genuinely thought it came out at the end of this month, I didn't know it had already been released until I saw it on a shelf today.

My girlfriend managed to swipe it out of my hands before I could pay for it though.....So now it's a Christmas present.

Something that gets me about Invincible is that Omni-Man's name is Nolan.

Like, it's not a Clark Kent/Kal El or Goku/Kakarot deal where he has his birth name and one he uses/was given on Earth and it's not a fake name....That man's actual name is Nolan, other Viltrumites call him that.

So we've got Conquest, Krieg, Thragg.....And Nolan.

It's like having the most feared warriors of your society being "Murderkill the invader", "General War", "Ugg" and "Richard from accounting".

So I know it's probably not what @xiranjayzhao intended, but in Heavenly Tyrant when Qin Zheng drops all airs and graces for the first time and uses his actual accent and dialect, calling a previous campaign "A fucking palaver"

.....Yeah I imagined him with the most exaggerated Cockney accent.

Okay, so here's a vague semblance of an idea....

An evil/rogue Sentai team.

But their motif is animals who are far more messed up or nastier/weirder than their cute and fluffy reputations.

Red Chimpanzee Ranger

Blue Dolphin Ranger

Yellow Axolotl Ranger

Green Hippo Ranger

Pink Flamingo Ranger

And the sixth....

White, (or Golden) Goose Ranger

I think a common misconception about Sophia is that she's a popular girl.

Sophia is a mean girl, but she's not popular. Emma is a popular girl and Sophia hangs out with Emma..... Without Emma, Sophia would have no friends at Winslow.

I mean, not even getting into the amount of E88 kids there Sophia is just hard to like, deliberately so (Absolutely deep in her 'Not like other girls' phase).....She's antisocial and probably considered to be one of the weird kids by most of the school.

Which means that a lot of other Winslow kids look at Emma's friendship with Sophia as "Oh Emma got rid of the Hebert girl and found another charity case to work on"

Which I'm sure Sophia would be completely normal about if anyone bothered to tell her.

Okay, this is such a niche thought but....

If Worm ever got a TV adaption and it got popular/lasted long enough to get to the end then there definitely lines that music producers would sample the shit out of, especially if they were making beats for rappers.

"You needed better opponents" right before the start of a diss track would go off and you know it.

Taylor's "Fresh, not likely" right before a dirty dubstep drop would send a rave nuts.

Okay so given the naming convention for at least some of the Superheroes in the Invincible universe including their real names "Rex-Splode" "Dupli-Kate" "Atom Eve" "Shrinking Rae"

There is probably a non-zero amount of people, in universe who think that Invincible's actual, government name is Vincent.
