I love how many people are sending in positive takes about the female TD characters, it makes such a change from the constant male-centric posts I normally get on my feed!

There's an event starting on Saturday 1st where people create content for their favourite yuri ships as w/w pairings tend to be vastly underrepresented in fiction and art.

I'm running a team where people can create content for any w/w ships from Total Drama during the event, please check out my blog for more info and hopefully sign up, I'd love to see people making fics and art for all the w/w ships and female characters they've submitted takes about!

I’m sorry for the late response and I’m glad to hear that an even like that had happened. I wish I have answered this sooner. Graduation made it a bit difficult for me to remember and I’m sorry for the delay. I hope it turned out well because that sounds really cool and fun.

Duncan squeezed Alejandro with as much force as he could without making it seem like he cared. Alejandro would only be gone for two months; just enough time to see his cousins and spend some time in the dry heat of the sun. Nothing like Canada’s mucky humidity. But, and Duncan would never admit this, he would miss Alejandro dearly. He planned a whole romantic, not-romantic summer together which would be scrapped by Alejandro’s departure. The plan was perfect: spend the summer together, kiss him under the cooling end-of-summer sun, spend the beginning of fall in a new relationship bliss.

Seems like the universe did not want Duncan to experience the love he deserves.

He gave Alejandro a hard pat on the back as he separated, because that’s what bromigos do after all. They definitely don’t linger their hands on their friends jacket, seemingly waiting for more. Dude, stop it!

You’ve been wanting to kiss him. You’ve been wanting to kiss him for a while. Just do it! The other voice in his brain was winning and just as they were about to separate, Duncan gripped the jacket hard and slammed their lips together.

It was the best thing ever! Why hadn’t he done this sooner? And now it’ll be ages before he can do it again, if he gets to do it again.

The kiss ended as quickly as it started and both boys were stunned. Duncan soon came back to reality. “Uh, have a safe flight. I’ll see ya when you get back.” He gave Alejandro another pat on the shoulder and quickly walked away, not looking back to see if Alejandro liked the kiss or not. Either one would be heartbreaking

It was gonna be a long two months.

Hmmm

1. He doesn’t talk about it a lot but he’s super into art. He mostly uses this skill to cause mass destruction but he also genuinely likes painting and sculpting. He painted a portrait of his elderly neighbor’s dog once, after she covered for him about where he’d been one night when he was out getting into trouble.

2. Duncan knows everything about the deep lore of the Barbie cinematic universe. He swears it’s because he used to babysit his cousin, which is partly true. He only watches them with her because he’s too embarrassed to do it in any other context, but he does really like them

3. Duncan has issues with hoarding things after spending time in juvie(and later prison). Most people don’t really notice it because he’s always been kinda possessive, and honestly I don’t think he’s even conciously aware of it.

4. Going off of the first one, he really likes working with elderly people :) it started as a kid when he was walking his neighbor’s dog for money and realized she was pretty cool(she was the first person he ever met with a tattoo, which he thought was pretty badass for a boring old lady)and was later reinforced when he was required to do some community service. He thinks a lot of old people are entitled and boring, but he has a true interest in a lot of their stories.

I would just like to say my day has been physically and mentally exhausting so seeing a bunch of DJ/Duncan posts from you amongst all the horrible ones plaguing the TD fandom this evening has helped me feel better, thank you for the adorable content :)

I think I speak on behalf of the whole fandom when I say please please please tell us more about the TD dating sim!

okay so it was. definitely a more ambitious project than i could’ve pulled off, but basically, you’d be on a new td season and you’d get to romance some of the characters? but i was also planning on having a competition mechanic so different people could get eliminated, +minigames as challenges, as well as player character customization.... i guarantee it would’ve been a mess. but it definitely is cool to think abt.
