For whomever you'd like (or all of them!)...Q14: Does your oc do anything “just for the aesthetic”? Or are they completely practical in everything?
Thank you for the ask @fandomn00blr!
Neither of my main OCs are purely about the aesthetic or 100% practical.
Eluned eschews most trappings that would flaunt her status in the Inquisition, much to Josephine’s frustration particularly when it comes to the nobles and wealthy merchants that they need to impress to gain their support, and more importantly, access to their coin purses.
On a personal level, the scars that mark her time as saarebas are a constant reminder of what she endured at their hands, particularly the ones around her mouth that never fail to draw people’s eyes. She took to wearing a couple of rings through those piercings to own her scars, make them hers as a reminder that she did survive. And they have the added bonus of making Bull hot.
For Gwenaëlle, her armour is just as much for show as for defense. She’s a fairly small woman that most people would probably dismiss without a second thought, but on the battlefield, it’s a different story. She handcrafted her armour from the scales of dragons she defeated. It declares that she is the Dragonborn. it also serves a very useful purpose of hiding a myriad of weapons, that Cullen discovered to his dismay.
