but not because I passed it. sadly I had to take the W for it. My options were either I fail it and I tank my GPA or I withdraw. So it looks like I'll be taking it again another time. It's definitely frustrating, I put a lot of time energy, and work into the class this semester. The only things that make me feel better about this outcome are 1. at least I have my notes from this semester to help me when I retake it and 2. my tutor said the amount of information they expected us to learn in one class that only meets once a week was ridiculous...and she has a degree in biology.
Next semester, I could only register for math during early registration. My advisor suggested I retake it to get a better grade, which means this will be my third time taking this class. I'm trying not to get frustrated with how school is going, but it's really discouraging. I haven't even gotten to my courses for my major yet, and I thought I'd be going into them at the beginning of the fall semester next year. I really am trying so hard - harder than I ever have in school - and it doesn't feel like it's enough. It doesn't help that my professors are allergic to teaching.
I may transfer to a different college just to take A&P. I didn't know this when I applied, but the rad tech program I'm in is incredibly competitive. Because of this, the A&P is much harder in order to weed people out. This class at my school has a less than 50% pass rate. And, like I said, that's just a PASS rate. You have to receive an A to get into the rad tech program. So, it's safe to say I'm overwhelmed.
A lot of things are hard right now, but I'm not going to give up!
