Loving the briefing for The Heartbreaker elusive. Gonna give it a go now.

Also, Diana says the client "contacted us" rather than "contacted the ICA". Might not mean anything, but could be another clue that these H3 elusives are set after H3?

Ok so I rarely (never?) make posts about elusive targets because they're usually just fun extras.

BUT omg? This baby. We are getting so much juicy lore here.

The Briefing:

Is this set after HITMAN 3? Or during, but before Chongqing? Or set before HITMAN 3?

"How shall I put it? One of our competing agencies." The WAY Diana says this, who is the agency? Diana obviously knows them. Is it ICA and this is set after H3? None of the files have any ICA insignia on them.

I was screaming at the mention of her handler betraying her, Diana being like umm don't get any ideas 47 baby

"Destroying the natural order" Diana gets real religious in this briefing? It's fascinating??

I love how some of the files appear to have handwriting on them, like Diana is making notes by hand for 47. I'm pretty sure briefings didn't look like that before.

I also really appreciate the "multiple attempts to get rid of her" to explain why 47 has been hired by a rival.

"They need the best" - flatterer.

"One does not defy the gods without consequences." - Ok I literally, legit screamed at this line. WHAT a line!!!!! What gods is she defying? Does the competing agency have religious ties? Is it Providence? Or does Diana see agencies of life and death (such as her and 47 now) as GODS???????

Intel

"There are rumors that she made contact with your old friend Robert Montgomery, during his intelligence days." !!!! Agent Montgomery? I like Diana's use of "old friend" here but as we know Montgomery was more of an admirer only too eager to bring 47 down, so this is presumably sarcastic.

Mission

I started at the winery viewpoint and I miss Diana lol

All the old dialogue still plays about Yates, so that would make it appear this is not set after H3. Then again, I would not expect IO to make such huge changes for an elusive. Corvo Black, however, does not have his usual dialogue about Diana, and instead is greeted by Joanne.

For real, can't walk around the lavender fields without missing Diana

I appreciate that Joanne is a Malbec drinker, and I decided to kill her with it. But she didn't go to the bathroom, she started vomiting over the railing. Luckily I got there well ahead of her bodyguard and chucked her over it for Silent Assassin.

Gotta say I feel kinda bad for her. She's just a working girl, making deals and trying to get back at her boss. Leave her alone. I also love how brazen she is talking to ppl: Oh you look like you have a problem. I can solve it... with murder :)

Ok so first of all, yay lesbian wedding!

Second of all, the balls on Newcombe to think he can get with either of them

Third, Newcombe trying to tango with the one he’s interested in 👀 and her saying no 👀👀👀

Also, I’m hearing new NPC dialogue? I walked past a guard and he said “Look at this guy, all fancy. Who does he think he is?” and when approaching a restricted area “You don’t want to get that nice suit dirty, do you? So, leave.” I haven’t heard those before, has anyone else?

Anyway, Newcombe kept going on about his scrapbook so I took it from his van, found it was full of murder info, and gave it to the ladies. They promptly got the fuck out of dodge, and I poisoned Newcombe's wine and strolled out of there for a nice SA.
