Loving the briefing for The Heartbreaker elusive. Gonna give it a go now.
Also, Diana says the client "contacted us" rather than "contacted the ICA". Might not mean anything, but could be another clue that these H3 elusives are set after H3?

I can't help thinking that 47 and Diana are getting old. they will be even older in the next games.. do you think the hitman games will continue even after 10 years or more? I don't want them to retire or getting old bc I can’t live without them 🥺😂
Tbh I think it's really refreshing to have middle-aged deuteragonists. Life doesn't end at 25, y'all.
I assume when IO go back to the Hitman franchise, they will either set the game a few years after H3, reboot completely, or set the game in a "timeless" setting. I think the latter would be the best option, but IO love putting dates on everything lol
Do you think that, if paid enough, current 47 and Diana would take a contract on a nonviolent thief gang? How would they justify it?
I don’t really understand this question cos 47 and Diana have taken contracts on non-violent people before? Diana always had the freedom to reject contracts she didn’t like.
How do you think Diana would respond to a shockingly similar case to her parents death? A company mistake gets employees killed, and they want to permanently silence the whistleblowers. Under ICA she couldn't double cross them for personal gain, but now that she's independent, would she send 47 against its CEOs or just simply dismiss the contract request and move on?
Dismiss and move on.
If Diana's going to send 47 to take down every corrupt CEO who has put families at risk, she'll run out of money pretty quickly :D
If there was some kind of dlc, new game, or an extended universe story, what would you like to see in it? 47's solo year, Diana slowly dismantling providence, or their new duo assassination business (assuming the elusive targets aren't already showing that era)?
Also, do you think the ICA & providence plotline is abandoned for good now? It might be good to move on and just leave things to the imagination but personally I would love to see the effects they had on the world once they were exposed and removed. The riots on the news and everyone talking about it at the party was such a tease haha
The core of Hitman games for the past 21 years has been: Agent 47, Diana Burnwood, the ICA. Those three elements aren't going anywhere imo.
With that in mind, I have no interest in a game about 47's solo year. It's no longer relevant as he has moved on from it. Similarly, I have no further interest in the games exploring Providence. What we saw and heard in game and in the epilogue was enough for me, it's better to leave some things to the imagination and I don't need to be shown every detail. Because the Providence storyline was for WoA, it's over and done with now and won't be explored further in the games. As for the effect they had on the world, it won't be felt. The businesses they supported still exist, they just have new CEOs at the helm.
However, I'd love to see more expanded universe stories from Michael Vogt on any Hitman subject or time :D I really enjoyed Overachievers and I'm sure he has plenty more where that came from.
what do you think arguments between diana and 47 would look like? now that they're equals they're bound to disagree on things at some point, how would they go about solving any disagreements?
this is really interesting
I think the big problem is that, there’s no switch to flip. 47 has made his choice now, sure, but Diana is still in control to a large extent. He still trusts her to make decisions for both of them. He might not be sure enough of himself to be in a position to argue.
If he doesn’t like something, I think he might try to talk about it, but if she shuts him down he’s more likely to sit in a corner and think until Diana’s finally like “ok what”
Diana trusts him too, though. Despite the fact that she makes major decisions without his input, she still understands when something is important to him (the Partners) and will follow someone else’s lead (Grey) if it means 47 gets what he needs. I’d like to think they will end up having some healthy discussions in the future.
What do you think how the story of Diana and 47 will continue? Will it be a kind of reboot and they work together as they always did, with just communicating over the phone? Or will there be more... physical contact in the future? I mean, after Mendoza, can they ever go back? 😅
I have a few thoughts here and here! But while I don’t think we’ll see Diana a lot in the field, it was so very cool and the tech will be there for the future.
As for the future of the franchise, it’s interesting to think about. WoA was the first time in the series that the games had direct story sequels. I think the next game will be a clean break, but the ICA is gone, so it will either stay gone or make a return somehow. I’d personally vote for a return, as that aesthetic is too good to waste lol - but H3 was about setting 47 free so we will likely see a more equal partnership with 47 in the future as he continues to develop as a person.
Hey I was thinking maybe for the next game (I know it will be a long time coming) IOI should made 47 fake betray Diana to even the stake. Do you think he is capable of such deception tho, even with Diana’s approval?
If he had planned it with Diana, yes. But if she was out of the loop? Hmmm I’m not so sure. Despite how much he’s grown, he still really needs her to help him define the right course of action.
