So over the course of the past few weeks, I had to do a cleanse and spend some alone time with the Creator. Big changes have happened in my life and I can only take them one at a time. Taking all of them on at once is overwhelming as a sensitive soul.
But I feel much more myself again now, and it's clear by the energy within and around me!
I work hard to maintain an Elven mindset and to keep my vibrations high. Doesn't always go as planned, and usually I slip in and out of 'modes' but I'm still finding myself and finding balance.
Anyway, usually at work I wear styles like 70s, boho, dark boho, mori kei, dark mori, strega, and such. Usually Elven in aesthetic. Sometimes I wear 40s or 50s inspired retro styles or 80s-esque. But today I was going to be late, so I threw on my colorful retro style MTV windbreaker hoodie, some highwaisted jeans, and my iridescent purple gym shoes from Walmart. I had my hair in braids and threw a hat on. I was not planning to impress anyone today.
Well, I doubt I did, but I was in the back dock of my job, looking for something, and I walked past a coworker who stopped me. She said, "I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but.. you remind me of a witch. I don't know what it is. Like a... forest witch. Magical!" she apologized, afraid she had offended me, but I assured her there was nothing to be sorry for. To make it simple, I said those are aesthetics I usually love wearing and I thanked her.
But it just warmed my heart. Sure, 'witch' isn't really my identity or who I am, but it was the best way she could find to explain it. And I knew exactly what she meant. And she saw that, even as I stood there in an MTV hoodie and jeans.
TLDR; my point is, even when you don't feel Elven, even when you aren't thinking of it, even (...or especially?) when it's far from your mind, others can and WILL notice your true self. If you carry the energy with you and within you, if you are a part of it, as much as it is a part of you, then it will be clear. No matter what you are wearing, or where you are, or how you feel in the moment.
Of course, we don't need validation from others to exist or to be ourselves, but it is very encouraging to know that even when you don't feel it, others who are attuned can see it, clearly. They can see YOU clearly.
An In-depth Elven perspective on Mind Power Subliminals (p1)
I felt lead to talk about the controversial subliminal creator known as Mind Power. This is a post to address anyone who may have been curious about the Elven Light Path but was turned off to it by Mind Power herself. Even if this post just helps one, that is a great thing. I also have suggestions for alterative Elven subs you can use and other resources! If you want them, just lemme know!
(sorry for the length of this, it ended up being WAAAAAY longer than I wanted it to be, so I split it in two parts! I wanted to fully address her actions that I've seen, from my perspective as an Elven soul).
TL;DR -- Mind Power seems to be a shady person who speaks with self-assumed authority about a people she is not a part of, because (as far as I can tell) she wants a bunch of devoted followers at her whim. But she does NOT speak for the collective.
-- If you are unfamiliar with what subliminals are, they are essentially a psychological tool to help you achieve goals for yourself. They are videos with silent or quiet affirmations covered by music. Creators of these videos typically post their subliminals to Youtube. I wrote about them a bit more in my last post here, but there is also another explanation here.
-- If you are unfamiliar with the Elven Light Path.... this is living as an Elven Soul. It's more than just a physical/fashion aesthetic. It is taking on the thoughts, lifestyle, mindsets, and wisdom of the Elves. It is NOT a religion or cult. It is appreciating the beauty of this world through the visions of the next. While most who follow this Path are spiritually awakened to their Elven higher selves, non-Elf identified souls may freely follow this path as well.
SO....I've been using subs actively for about 2 months, but have been using them on and off for the past yearish. In this time, I had heard of two controversial sub creators who have since left the community: Rose Subliminals and Mind Power.
I had never "researched" much about them but had been hearing more news about Rose and her actions since there were some more recent developments this year with her. There's a gaggle of YouTube videos meant to 'expose' both these channels, but I take them with a grain of salt. While I don't necessarily doubt the allegations, many of the videos seem to lean on common conspiracy theories (eg, illuminati) and mystical suggestions for entertainment, based on some serious claims vs just looking at the situation for what it might be at its bare bones. I just go by screenshot conversations from the actual accused and whatnot. Regardless, a number of people claimed to have had a bad experience with Mind Power's videos (from general discomfort to claims of hospital visits) and also claimed that she was "not a good person" and also that she "wanted to control everyone" (in her own words).

As I was looking through Google images for the thumbnail pic that I used in that previous post I linked above, I came across THIS image:
And it piqued my interest. I had missed the entire Mind Power saga. I was not really active and paying attention in the subliminal community until very recently so I wasn't actively around when Mind Power had her videos still up.
Clicking the image link here, it led to a blog post. Originally when I read the post I thought the best possible thing: that maybe she was working with someone and knew they were putting negative things in their affirmations and was trying a tactic to scare away people from using them. Then I read more of her posts and realized she was being serious. So then I thought, the next 'best' thing: There are kids/young teens in the sub community and maybe a lot of the comments on her videos her these younger users who just didn't quite understand the Elven Light Path and she was fussing about it. But no.. the truth is much worse.

So, I had no idea that (a lot of) her channel focus was apparently on the Elven Light Path--the path I walk--until I came across this blog post...but right away I could tell her perception of this spiritual and lifestyle path was severely skewed.
From what I can gather from her blog, Mind Power (AKA Asherah Aphrodite) is what some on this site might call godkin (Idk if she'd identify that way... probably not). She claims to have been offering the traits and powers of the Elves through her videos to help "turn humans into elves". With secret powers and gifts FROM the Elves.
To quote her directly, here is a small paragraph about using Elven subliminals from the article that Legolas meme image accompanies:
"This is completely changing from human to Elf. This is Elven immortality. This is being part of the Elven family. This is giving up your humanity. Do not use the Elf series unless you are serious about the Elven path. We would much rather have less people using the Elf series. It would be fine if only a few of you used it because we would be a more solid and dedicated tribe. Don't mess with them. They are not tolerant and forgiving towards humans who disrespect them. Have you read the folklore stories of what they do to humans they don't like?"
After reading this, I realized she was simply outside trying to define a group she doesn't even understand.
Yes, the Elven Light Path is a real lifestyle that goes beyond just dressing elven and being obsessed with LotR, but for many, that is how it starts. And that is more than okay! All journeys must start somewhere. If someone DESIRES to be elven and actively seeks out these sort of videos, it is a sign that they already have a connection to the Elven and Fae.
In truth, we elves would ALWAYS rather have MORE people walking the Elven path, than LESS. Even those who do not identify as elven themselves. We are not a closed club or sorority group that has to audition only the "best of the best" to be accepted in our little exclusive "tribe" as she calls it.
The Elven Path is a path for every and anyone, all who wish to explore it. It is simply about living and seeing life through the eyes of the Elven and connecting with your Elven self. The more you follow this path, the more you become aligned with Elven energy. Being Elven is NOT "giving up your humanity". It is heightening it. Elevating it. Elves are humans. Humans are Elves. There is an innate connection that only differs in frequencies, spiritual maturity levels, and physical form. Those of us who have become awakened to our higher Elven selves and claim to be Elven Souls only recognize this truth and strive to live it. But we are still human and recognize this as well.
Regarding her point in the first quote about Elves not being "tolerant and forgiving toward humans who disrespect them" while, this is certainly not an exaggeration, it is not the only truth. Yes, many people have had contact with dark or demonic energies that show their wrath toward humanity, and these people record this experience through fear and lack of understanding, often as a Fae or Elven encounter. I mean, it's like when you're a kid experiencing your first thunderstorms. You may be terribly frightened of them and hate them.. but once you learn what thunderstorms are, what their purpose is, how they work, and the actual threat level.. you realize that, while the fear is valid, it is not needed. Once you understand, you are no longer afraid. Or at least, you know you don't have to be as afraid as you were. The same goes for adults who have experiences with the supernatural and no way to explain or interpret it. Human nature has the flight or fight instinct and this is grounded in fear to maintain survival. But with wisdom and understanding, we combat this instinct. Also.. I gotta point out that many stories about Fae and Elves in history are simply just... works of fiction meant to scare children or entertain adults (but often inspired by Elven/Fae energies).
NOTE: This is my own personal belief based on my own spiritual understanding of the Bible and the world and what I believe to be true. I am no biblical scholar, nor a general religion scholar. I am simply a Christian and Elven soul, so these conclusions were just made by my own prayer, thought, and study. You don’t have to agree, I’m just sharing my thoughts... which is why this is so haphazardly written lol
I identify as a Lunar Elven soul. Because of this, I naturally feel a lot of affection and love for the moon. She is my favorite celestial body. She is the one who makes me look up and smile. She makes me feel something I can’t explain. I feel most myself when I see her softly staring back at me among the stars and clouds.
But I only call her ‘her’... for fun, because I like to personify the moon. The closest earthly version of my ‘kin’ are the Kaldorei from WoW, who worship the moon goddess Elune and I love that concept. I have a moon goddess character I’ve created for the fantasy world I have built as well.
But outside of these things? I do not see the moon as a deity itself. I do believe that the moon is a representation of feminine energy. I also believe that its energy deals with things like intuition and insight.
But as expressed in one of my other too-long writings, when it comes to spiritual guidance and worship, I am lead by the question of “Why try to seek guidance from creation (the stars, celestial bodies, energies, the earth, etc) when one can simply just talk to the Creator Himself?”
Naturally, if one does not believe in a singular universe creator, this would be null and void as a point, but for me, this is the very crux of my stance as a Christian elf.
We are warned about this in Deuteronomy 4:19:
“And take heed, lest you lift your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, you feel driven to worship them and serve them, which the Lord your God has given to all the peoples under the whole heaven as a heritage.”
Or in more familiar/modern terms:
“When you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars—all the heavenly array—do not be enticed into bowing down to them.”
And I take this warning seriously. I refuse to turn to idol worship of the moon itself, adopt another culture’s moon deity, or deify it myself as a being. The moon did not die for me and cannot build a personal relationship with me or provide for me a comforter and present help in a time of trouble. It is a creation, not Creator. I believe it is alive with energies the same way you, or I, animals, and plants are alive, and is holy as a creation, but not a/the source of Holiness or Divinity.
But I do believe that the moon is an important tool and gift to us. That verse says that God gave us the moon as a heritage. Heritage is “a special or individual possession; an allotted portion”. The obvious heritage being that it is the natural night light we all can enjoy the beauty of as people born here on this Earth. But taking it further, I believe that the moon is meant to serve many purposes spiritually.
🌙For one, it serves as a reminder that we are reflections of God. If we are to see ourselves as the moon, and God as the sun (Jesus as the son/sun), we reflect the Light of the Sun. We are to be a Light and we were made in His image, and thus, we are meant to reflect the way Jesus acts, talks, and is.
🌙Just like the moon sourcing its glow from the sun, our Light is not from us, but upon us. When I shine, the power and spiritual gifts and abilities do not come from me or my own power. They cannot. They come from God. I don’t believe we can cultivate any sort of spiritual gifts on our own, by our own power. Whether demonic or holy, positive or negative, I believe that these spiritual gifts have a source beyond our own being. Just as the moon shines form the sun’s glow (although negative gifts I wouldn’t exactly liken to coming from the ‘sun’ in this analogy, as they are dark and may often come from a false light).
🌙Each phase of the moon is a reminder of change, transition, and renewal. The sun remains the same throughout time and time again, but the moon appears different each night. Just as God remains the same, but people change. But we can never change who we are at our core. The moon is still the moon, whether crescent, waxing gibbous, or full.
🌙The moon is a gift God bestowed upon us to give us light in the darkness. And that is what connects with me the deepest.
As a lunar elven soul, I have been always finding myself among the darkness. Not of it, but within it. Surrounded by it. Dark situations. Dark people. People battling with Darkness within and without them. I see the darkness in things. But within this darkness, it brings me joy to find ways to spread Light. Like the gentle beams of the moon spreading in the darkest corners of forest, I feel that that is the significance of my connection to it as a celestial body.
This pouring of Light can help to bring others healing, but not by my own power or source. Rather, by the Light that was gifted to me. I take no credit for the healing that others may receive through my prayer work and fasting and Lightwork. I only take credit when obeying God when He guides me to do it. Even then, He has given me a mind to want to do so.
Technically I consider myself a Healer in this sense, but truthfully, it’s more like God is the Doctor and I am only a nurse at the front desk, making sure you have the information you need, as instructed to me by the Doctor (okay the Doctor Who fangirl inside of me chuckled when I reread what I typed lolol). But He is the one who evaluates and operates. I simply help you through the hospital door. Get you talking. Advocate for you as bet I can.
As someone who is learning to navigate the gifts of Burden Bearing and Intercessory Prayer, I connect with the moon for these reasons.
So, in conclusion.. TL;DR-- I believe in the healing and renewing energy of the moon and its light casted at night, as a reminder of being a Lightworker, a Child of God. It is not a god, but an extension of Him just as we are.
I’ve joined a lot of groups and clubs centered around Elven spirituality, the Elven Light path, and otherkin spirituality as well and I find mys’elf constantly comparing me to other members. Maybe it’s just my Enneagram Type 4 acting up, but I can’t help but feel like I’m “less awakened” than others, just because of how it seems.
I believe I will outgrow this in time, as I am newly awakened (fairly speaking). Still, I catch mys’elf in this mindset from time to time. I know it’s silly, and I’m writing this now to talk about it because I might not be the only one who experiences this.

As someone who does not follow Paganism, Spiritualism, Witchcraft, or other similar religions and beliefs, I am somewhat of a minority among other Faekin and Elven Souls.
I see others who celebrate this Elven heritage in ways that I cannot or do not and I feel like a poser. Maybe it’s just impostor syndrome, but I sometimes feel like I’m not “awakened enough” when I’m stuck in a loop comparing mys’elf to others.
Of course, I have gone through three very intense spiritual experiences and I am spiritually and mentally on a completely different level than I ever have been in my life. When I step back and am able to look at mys’elf with a clear mind, I know that I am truly awakened and on the right path. But I see others who do certain rituals or say certain things and I feel like I’m “not as Awakened as they are”, because I do not do the same.
But I have to keep reminding mys’elf that no one’s spiritual path looks like the next person’s.
Yes, I may express and explore my true s’elf differently than other faekin and elves, but that does not make it any less valid. I am no less Elven for not meditating with crystals. I am no less Elven for defining ‘meditation’ itself as my prayer time with Jesus and the time spent discovering myself spiritually. I am no less Elven for rejecting the use of Reiki, tarot cards, runes, and astrology, especially for guidance, prediction, and prophecy. I am no less Elven for not just going along with what feels right, feels good, or just seems right via meditation or any ‘spirit guides’ I may come across.
I am no less Elven for anything that I believe in or don’t believe in.
I am Elven because I know in my soul that I am. I am Elven because it is who I am.
No one’s spiritual path is going to look like mine and my spiritual path will never look like another person’s. We all have unique paths that are meant to be different and it does not mean someone is more or less awakened than you.
It's interesting how things line up for me with Christianity and the Elven Light Path.
💜For me, my tarot cards, runes, astrology, and horoscope is Jesus and Jesus alone. I depend on Him and my relationship with Him to lead and guide me to who and where I need to be. Because I believe He is the living God of the Heavens, and He made the stars and the universe and that He is the source of it all. He is already at tomorrow's tomorrow, so I do good to trust in Him.
💜My Laws of Attraction is called Speaking Life or Walking By Faith. I believe that if I want something (that is not sinful or selfish or evil or goes against the word of God) and am persistent in asking, seeking, and knocking on the door to get this thing, God will allow it to manifest within my life. For example, I started buying things for college before we were even sure I'd get to go..because I wholeheartedly believed I would...and so I did. It is not by my own thought power or desire to have that thing manifest alone which brings about the manifestation, but the Power andlove of God.
💜My healing 'power' does not come from myself, my past lives, the Earth, or the universe. But it does come a spirit, the spirit of God. The Holy Spirit. It is not something I summon or meditate to improve. I pray and ask God to allow my spiritual gifts to manifest and to give me opportunities to utilize them as they were meant to be used, and the understanding and wisdom I need in order to take those opportunities. In this, I am able to heal and be a lightworker.
💜I believe in Creation Care and being mindful to care for all of God's creation, from the biggest animals in the deep ocean, to the tiny bugs in the gardens. The animals do not belong to us, but they are under our care.
In these things (among other things) I find unity in being Christian and Elven. While I do not practice the same rituals or processes, as others in this community, I find common ground and connection on all sides this way.
