HIHIHIHI THANK YOUUU 😭 that made me so happy omg!!! and YES @/mooreaux is insanely talented, i damn near lost my mind when i received the finished product! i would love to see your ocs in their style too… just saying… OKAY rogue trader time. i literally just finished it recently and i’m still not over it. i’d tried playing it before but never got to the end, but this time i locked in and wow… such a good game. like genuinely so well written. and this is coming from someone who usually struggles with slower crpgs, but once i got into it i was in. and omg pwotr… i have like 70 hours in it but my dumbass completely broke my game 😭 i was using visual adjustments 2 (amazing mod btw, made everything so much more fun) that was until it absolutely broke my save and i rage quit LMAO. lowkey though it might be for the best because now i can actually sit down and understand the lore properly before i restart. but from what i did play… okay i am a bg3 defender for life, i will go to war for that game, but pwotr’s villains?? they clear. I'M SORRY BUT THEY DO! they sucked me in so hard.

(not the best of images, i am aware) so this is my wife acadia aeos venria de vahl af calixis von valancius (she/they), she’s a voidborn noble! i picked that origin because she loves using it to her advantage! i went officer into grand strategist with her, which fits her perfectly. she’s mostly dogmatic, but she has a few ironclast moments when it suits her. she’s… a lot.

very controlled, very deliberate, everything they do feels calculated. she reads people insanely fast and then just uses whatever she finds against them. humiliation is like one of her favorite tools, especially with people who think they’re above them. she’s obsessed with status and power, she sees it as something to weaponize. at the same time they have their own weird code, and if you’re loyal to her she will go hard for you.

also she’s like 6’7 / ~200cm *gulp*. so she towers over everyone, including her love interest heinrix! she loves to make his life absolute hell <3. from the moment he steps on the ship she does not trust him and makes sure he knows it. constant power plays, pushing him, baiting him, picking at every little thing just to see how far they can go. and he gives it right back. so it just turns into this ongoing tension where they’re both stubborn and intense and absolutely refuse to back down. 😊 but eventually, mostly because of commorragh, they finally stop trying to psychologically destroy each other, which is growth i guess! he even leaves the inquisition in the end, and i got the true love achievement so clearly all that suffering paid off 😭

wait what's the deal with hilde and alistair?

STOP THIS IS MY FIRST EVER OC ASK OH MY GOD 😭😭 hi anon i love you so much. thank you for asking about my problematic ocs i could genuinely cry, this means so much to me!!! this got… a little long. i'm so sorry lmao. funnily enough i was actually talking about this with a mutual recently (hi ell 👋), so i do have some thoughts on it!

the second hilde and her companions arrive in denerim, she starts learning more and more about alistair and his chances of becoming king. atp, she's already in an awful place mentally. she's desperate to belong as a dwarf surrounded almost entirely by humans and elves (sorry not sorry oghren, you don't count), and she's still carrying this immense rage over being framed. not only was she framed, she was left for dead, and even her own father refused to believe her. becoming a reaver only amplifies all of that. it feeds the anger already inside her. then they meet goldanna. if you're playing a dwarf, she says something along the lines of, "what's this, alistair? a dwarf to carry your riches?" and i honestly think that's the first time hilde has ever felt ashamed of being a dwarf. up until then she'd always been incredibly proud of who she was. but in that moment… it almost feels like alistair is embarrassed by her. whether he actually is or not doesn't really matter. that's how she experiences it, and it hurts. everything just keeps piling up until she's consumed by this hunger for power and for the life she once had. so she starts pushing alistair toward the throne. to her, this feels like the only chance she'll ever have to regain her status, her titles, her place in the world. alistair doesn't want to be king, but after hanin's death and the defeat of the archdemon, everyone's grieving, emotions are running high, and in the end he listens to the person he trusts and loves most. hilde is ecstatic… right up until alistair tells her he can't have a dwarf as queen of ferelden. she is furious. absolutely furious. she leaves him without another word and returns to orzammar, throwing herself into supporting lord harrowmont in the hope that, somehow, she'll finally earn back the place that was stolen from her. alistair regrets it almost immediately, but it doesn't change the reality of his position. he writes to her anyway. letter after letter after letter. hilde burns every single one until, after 2 or 3 years, he finally stops sending them. this is where my canon gets a little fuzzy because i'm still figuring it out. right now, my inquisitor, tulin, ends up calling on both alistair and hilde without telling either of them the other will be there. they reunite, but… nothing really happens. hilde is as cold and distant as ever, no matter how hard alistair tries to reach her. however. i've been toying with the idea of them getting drunk… hooking up… and both of them realizing that, despite everything, neither has truly moved on. hilde tells herself she's over him, but she clearly isn't. the question is whether they should even try again. because what's the point, if she still believes he's ashamed of her? if you've made it all the way to the end, tysm for reading <3 seriously, please keep asking me about my ocs. i will happily ramble about them forever.
