   after centuries of devoting -- everything to the guild, maneuvering around the pub -- better known as fairytail’s headquarters in magnolia. he made a promise to lucy, his celestial counterpart in making juvia’s recruitment as smooth and welcoming as possible in her absence. despite her request starting as an initial quarrel, he later caved. it wasn’t that he didn’t want to help, but he was rather oblivious of the ways to bolster juvia’s affinity with the guild - picking up jobs together? drinking? (what do women like, anyway?)

   he slides into the open seat next to juvia, arms resting atop the wooden table. despite her originating from the phantom lord guild, there was no denying she was an extraordinary mage of power and skill. ❝ juvia ! so, what’d y’think? it’s been a few days since you joined fairytail and it seems y’re fitting right in ! ❞ a nonchalant chuckle, accompanied by a bashful expression - embarrassed of what is he about to admit.   ❝ lucy asked me to check up on ya. but i told her not to worry, you know i always got your back !  ❞ he offers a cheeky grin - stretched joyfully across his features. a genuine gesture and sign of friendship,

♡ ▐▒   ━━━  He was a thief and he was really, really hungry. Ideally, he would snatch whatever he wanted, but when it came to choosing a target for his schemes he had to be careful. He didn’t want anyone that looked particularly strong or fast, someone that was maybe a little dumb, someone that looked as if they were barely paying attention to their surroundings...

And then Zidane saw the perfect target. A spiky-haired boy smiling blandly at the town he walked casually through.

The plan was simple, effective.

The monkey-tailed thief set off at a hurried pace, hands poised by his side for the inevitable collision. Zidane made sure he was rushing by so that he could smack right into the boy. Of course they collided, Zidane pressing his hands against the brunette to keep from falling face first on the ground. 

Then he let out a quick, “Sorry,” and pressed on until he was a few paces away.

And because Zidane was feeling particularly impish he turned around, waving the boy’s purse of gil in his hand, laughing openly at him.

“Thanks!” He hooted and began to set off to disappear into the crowd...

       “look out! comin’ through!” vanille called out as she ran past the spiky brown haired boy. already she had a couple of the dark creatures trailing behind her while she ran. “uh, you should probably run too, m’kay?” she called out to him, stopping and turning as she did so. she had already provoked them enough, it wouldn’t be good if someone else were to get involved in danger.

eveona’s wardrobe was elegant, but very very simple and was composed of mainly sundresses. it was just what was most comfortable for the girl.
