     ( ☽ ) It was quite typical for her to be swinging a wooden broom underneath her grip. The entire reason of doing so was to sweep off of the dust along pebbles and unnecessary things to keep the entire entrance of the temple to stay clean. She continued to brush them off in a left to right motion with a swishing sound that echoed through an individual’s eardrums. It wasn’t until she was taken by surprise when an unfamiliar being stood a few inches away from her followed by hands being placed over each side of her cheeks. As strange as it was for anyone to receive the slightest touch from an unfamiliar face, she remained composed with her inquiry.

     “Is there something wrong with my face?”

Awkward Encounter AU || elxsis

          “Fujisaki-kun!” Nagihiko blinked before turning to voice behind him. The voice belonged to a young, female brunette. If he remembered correctly, she was in the same class as him. “May I help you?” Nagihiko asked politely, as a gentle smile formed on his face. The brunette flushed in embarrassment and quickly held out a pale yellow letter with a small heart mark in the right hand corner.

          “P-Please accept this!” The brunette stuttered, as she shoved the letter in Nagihiko’s hands and quickly dashed off with her face completely red. Nagihiko barely comprehend what just happened before he was snapped out of his thoughts when one of his friend wrapped one of his arm around Nagihiko’s shoulders. “You’re getting really popular, Nagi! They can’t resist you!” His friend teased, as Nagihiko laughed nervously.

          “Not really..” Nagihiko shrug off his friend and smiled at his friend’s teasing. He was very popular in school due to his kindness and helpfulness. Although, popularity didn’t really matter to him much, anyways. “Oi, Nagi. Are you free today? The guys are gonna head to the arcade.” His friend asked. Nagihiko shook his head.

          “Sorry. Got dance practice after school.” Nagihiko apologized sheepishly, as he gave a slight shrug. His friend groaned but accepted his decisions. They both head to the front of the school to grab their shoes. “Make sure to come tomorrow, okay?” Nagihiko gave a small nod with a slight smile upon his face. “Watch out!” Nagihiko turned his head to the side but was pushed to the ground.

          “Oof!“ Nagihiko flinched, as he held onto the body that crashed into him. “Are you alright?” Nagihiko asked, as he took a glimpse at the person on top of him.
