Super basic goat pysanky egg! We went to a class held at the Ely Folk School last weekend and it was AMAZING!!! I don't have time for more hobbies, but I think I have a new hobby!

The Screaming Raven

There is, in this town, a screaming raven. Like, truly, honestly. Every time it opens its beak, it sounds like it is having a nervous breakdown.

I believe that this bird is my soul outside my body.

Felt ornaments

Making felt ornaments of (mostly) animals found in the area. Still have several to go: deer, moose, wolf, bald eagle, and raven. They are all different types of felt - some craft felt, some wool felt. Just using up what we've got! Also thinking of doing some in non-natural colors (y'know hot pink turtles, that kinda thing).

CAUSE TO REJOICE!

We are THRILLED - We have been accepted into the Blueberry Arts Festival up here. We thought we had not, but someone else backed out and we're in!

Now to make LOTS of stuffies and dress them! We have until July, but we'll be working from now until then!
