I always play out hypotheticals in my head, and one of my favorites is the classic "everyone starts life with one wish that they can make at any time and it'll come true", but I just remembered today that when I was a kid, I was irrationally terrified of tooth loss. Like, for a kid with no cavities and great dental hygiene, I was really preoccupied with tooth loss. So, anyway, when I was like ten or something I read this book on dinosaurs or sharks or something (I'm pretty sure it was prehistoric sharks) but like the book mentioned that whenever this beastie would lose teeth, it had a bazillion backups all ready to grow in and since tooth loss was a fear that would keep me up at night worrying about my toothless future, I just remember wishing so hardcore at that age that I too would have a bazillion backup teeth. But basically, long story short, even if we were born with one wish, I would've squandered mine at ten years old on a bazillion backup teeth. Fricken useless. Unbelievable.
