Good Luck Clive - Chappell Roan Maurice Edit
Reading Maurice is a feeling I never forgot. That book was so beautiful and it truly changed me. Seeing the inclusion of Alec's character was a feeling I never would have expected. The fact that in this book is a true bisexual character made me feel so seen. I get why people love lesbian movies set in the Victorian era because it was such a comfort I didnt know I needed. I'll never forget how that book made me feel.
“it seemed iniquitous that anyone should mispronounce the name of the man who was more to him than all the world.”
- Maurice, E.M. Forester
“his sincere mind, with its keen sense of right and wrong, had brought him the belief that he was damned instead.”
- Maurice, E.M. Forester
Let yourself go. Pull out from the depths those thoughts that you do not understand, and spread them out in the sunlight and know the meaning of them.
E.M. Forster
It never bored them to hear words, words; they breathed them with the cool night air never stopping to analyze...
E.M. Forster, A Passage to India
