No one was as loyal to Emily as Aiden - no one.
the second i saw Aiden in the show i fell in love with aimily but at the same time i knew he would last. why did they have to ruin this beautiful relationship. i am serious like Aiden was like the only one that understood how Emily was feeling (Nolan too, obvs) and he protected her, and he was always doing what was best for his friends. and now they dont even remember him in the show, i mean, he was one of Nolan's best friends, he was Emily's fiance, she thought of him once why they dont remember
i loved him
and i never loved anybody
I feel like the fandom was/is too hard on Aiden. They insult him more than necessary and I don't understand why he gets so much hate. His death was heartbreaking and I hate how people keep saying they were glad to see him die. He was still Emily's true love, no matter what you think.
As much as the Aiden farewell was heartbreaking. I'm sorry but I never enjoyed him as a character - and his romance with Emily always felt forced to me. It was hard to get on board with because there was no build up because he was a past lover who'd she already been with. For once I'd just like to see Emily fall in love on screen.
I loved him. More than I ever loved anybody. We could've had a life together.

You and I, we've called it quits so many times. But we haven't been able to make that stick. Really, have we? And that's because we fit. We belong together
