When endless memories were engulfed, discarded by the Rebirth cycle, Oroborous began to feel the missing pieces of his precious existence. It etching itself onto the worlds and galaxies as civilisations worshipped the Almighty Primordial Dragon Protector that shed his power to keep the Order of the cosmos. Beings that call themselves his siblings and those above that watched mercilessly remembering a version of him he did not know.
The newly born dragon relearned to tread along the same desire paths that bore messages left by the previous versions of himself. Version of himself lost forever in the torturous never-ending nightmare that was this curse they reiterated was a blessed Prophecy given unto him by the Will of the Cosmos themselves...
There was not much he could do but keep leaving notes and signs in planetary orbits, aligned stars and merging galaxies that spelled out stories of things he had once upon a time learned through exploring the cosmos. Unfortunately, soon the Observers caught onto these messages and disliked this unnatural disorder in their beloved Mother and began rearranging, erasing the messages in lieu of reorganising the space to better fit their observations.
The poor dragon felt stifled in this regime where every step he took was not only swept away into dust but each new one littered with spikes to deter him from ever moving in the first place. He felt all he could do was confide in his dear siblings... so he went to Fae. He told them about the mental fog caused by his missing memories, the hostile existence of each try being punished and the physical toll that the rebirth had on him every time it was carried out.
Fae froze. Suffering was not something they learned to deal with and so their mind began to tear it apart before it could hurt them. "Look, a star is forming! Don't you think it would be wonderful to watch it from the Waves?" Like no word was spoken, Oroborous couldn't understand why his sibling was seemingly unable to parse his plea, almost like Fae was stuck in their own world unable to be reached. For fear of the same happening again he stopped trying to express himself and just bore it like a weight chained to his shoulders until the day of his next arranged death.
Oroborous cried as he rebirthed, a silent feeling of abandonment. In his final moments of that reincarnation he foolishly let himself hope... hope that maybe somehow, someday - there will be someone in this existence that will see Him, hear Him and care enough to understand Him.
That day a new Emanator was born. Within the Primordial Egg that was Mo's shell, another lifeforce split itself from the juvenile dragon's soul and laid scrambling on the grassy field to stand on their own two feet. Two curious, tiny set of eyes gazed up for the first time with unending Hope. Fae and Mo held their new sister with glee before placing her back down to frolic with her twin brother. They called her Daria, a majestic unicorn darling of the Cosmos that was as powerful as Life's Hope for the future.
The two were inseparable, always finding more exciting things to learn about. Oroborous eventually gave her dominion over the Bubbles so she could care for the galaxy just as she had always watched her siblings do. For the first time in eternity, the Will of the Cosmos smiled down on Oroborous, the dragon cultivating another set of eyes for them to observe through and expanding their reach for interesting stories. It felt like maybe this time it will be different and the Prophecy would be kind to the dragon that became infatuated by raising this little unicorn into an exceptional Emanator.
