so i just binged the prequel star wars trilogy recently, for the first time in a very long time, and am now suddenly very much about backstory and obiwan??? do you have any comics/anything fandom related recommendations for me to jump into?

I’m publishing this because I figure my followers will have more suggestions - I haven’t read any of the prequel era comics but I really love the Clone Wars tv show (the later one, that’s still canon). It’s set between AOTC and ROTS and has quite a few good Obi-Wan arcs and lots of Obi-Wan sass. It’s on Netflix, and it’s mostly structured in 2-4 episode long arcs centered around different characters and locations rather than linear seasons, so if you’re not interested in a particular character or arc you can pretty easily skip it and it’s easy to watch in short chunks. There’s great character development - Ahsoka’s arc is amazing, you get a lot more of Padme being badass, there are lots of great new characters and it adds a lot to Anakin’s character. Also so many clone feels. 

Generally the animation gets better in later seasons, I think s3 is a big animation bump, and generally you get more intense storylines in the later seasons. S5 and then the half of s6 that got made but never aired has a lot of stuff that’s helpful for understanding ROTS in my opinion.

I don't think I've ever actually worn makeup, so...
