Ramble abt combiner dynamics, but I personally think they're so much more interesting when they're drastically different between teams.

Disclaimer that this is all MY PERSONAL opinion.

Like Protectobots (whom many don't know I love), they're for me, good coworkers. Being gestalt is their job, and they're professional about it - sure they share a room together (the ark ain't that big) and maybe get drinks after a work day, but Hot Spot isn't venting to Blades about how his wife took his kids after the divorce. I find it even more interesting if the Autobots are very G1 cartoon, where they are a big family - because then the contrast is noticeable.

The Constructicons are even cooler to explore because they actually care for each other in canon??? Isn't that so cool? G1 cartoon, where every Decepticon is at each other's throats, and they're just chilling A.K.A. Also hating the other 'Cons, but hating together. Well except when the episode is "The Secret of Omega Supreme", which uh... I think kinda flattens them a bit, so let's pretend this episode is a fever dream and never mention it again on this account, for my sake. At the end of the day, there's more CANON material for the Constructicons being untrustworthy in regards to the Decepticon faction than the contrary.

(I have so MANY thoughts on the Constructicons, but I'll refrain for now.)

As for the Combat-icons? BRUH, I think they're barely associates; they tolerate each other, sure, but at any opportunity to get an advantage of some kind they're taking it, fuck all. (Blast-off and Ons is another can of worms). They still don't get that as a Gestalt they're basically extensions of each other and blah blah blah teamwork, but I don't think they don't want to get it... Just... The purest form of willful ignorance.

Stunties? Siblings, obviously, they're the only ones that I personally view as family - with the caveat that they're all mentally ill teenagers who don't know how to deal with each other nor the fact that they're gestalt... so... Get these boys a therapist ASAP!!!
