ThunderClan cats are the largest in the Clans. They are massive, with broad shoulders, stocky bodies and large paws that help them navigate through the brambles and thorns. Their fur is usually thick, fluffig up during winter, and with tufted ears and even bigger manes of fur around their mane and chest, it's said they look the closest to lions. They are said to be the most intimidating of the Forest Clans.
Their pelt colors help them blend in their surroundings. Brown, gold, reddish, black, and tortoiseshell cats are the most common in this Clan. The least common is white or grey as they would usually stand out and have difficulty hunting through their forest territory. ThunderClan cats are usually tabby, with the least cats born with splotches. Although it's not uncommon to see cats with stranger traits due to The Family's blood in their ranks.
ThunderClan puts special importance on strength, honor, and poweress.
ThunderClan is very militaristic. From dawn to dusk, they have a perfect patrolling, hunting, and training schedule, and their life is like a routine, with every day being similar to the other, unless something is disruptive of it. The forest is very thick and big, and it needs to be patrolled constantly with cats on high alert, so their voices are often commanding and powerful, and they always speak loudly, even if they don't mean it. There is very little downtime in ThunderClan; any cat who is able-bodied is expected to be helping the clan in one way or another.
With time, ThunderClan embraced a shifting culture. Leaders, Healers, Seers & Deputies call their clan mates "my family" while clan mates call each other "brother or sister", even if not related. Furthermore, they are the only Clan whose kits also have a wide concept of mother, father, uncle, and extended family. Fathers are expected to be involved in their kits' lives even after Cadethood, and Monarchs are never judged if they wish to keep their litter's parent secret.
ThunderClan values experience and age as the most important pillars. Senior warriors and Retirees are honored for their service more than anywhere else. The younger cats respect them so much they are thought to refer them as to "sir" and "ma'am" out of respect. Cadets will also call them "Mentor" if they have been given an important piece of advice by that senior warrior. (Even if they aren't their assigned mentors).
Of course, the other Clans make fun of them for their stoic attitudes and think they are "obsessed with honor". Outsiders see them as stuck-up, but in reality, it's like they know they're the strongest Clan, and, aware of their power, they've learned that a true warrior just uses it to serve their clan mates, not for their own desires.
The wide-range of skills that the forest brings them with (building, fixing, climbing, tracking, hunting, etc) has also shaped them as a group who highly values individuality. Cadets are encouraged to seek out a skill that helps the Clan. Due to this, outsiders are not as looked down upon. Even an outsider who didn't fit the Clan's mold (smaller, skinnier, lithe) would be able to thrive in their environment.
Scars are often valued the most in ThunderClan, and Cadets often eagerly await their first battle, seeing them as marks of courageous acts and showing them off to whoever will listen.
The bond beetwen cats who train together (Mentor & Cadet) tend to the the strongest, as they believe that helps coordination and strengthening the trust in each other during every-day Clan tasks.
Squirrels, mice, voles, moles, small to medium birds (Starlings, Robins, Pigeons, Swallows, Sparrows, etc), and other forest critters.
Rabbits, hares, weasels, stoats, adders, snakes
Tawny owls are sacred and are not to be hunted.

During battles, ThunderClan often overpower their opponents by cornering them against the undergrowth or driving them further into the forest. They use brute force with (usually) not much regard for strategy. They are considered the fiercest Clan, easily overpowering a weaker and/or smaller opponent. ThunderClan prides themselves in never using attacks by aiming at vulnerable places like the underbelly or the face of cat, and killing is absolutely forbidden.
Despite their success during skirmishes and wars, ThunderClan still has their weaknesses. Battles in open spaces who don't allow them to stalk an opponent or don't have any undergrowth can be difficult for them and they can get clumsy, especially if chasing smaller and faster enemies. Ambush attacks are also especially hard— while their large paws are useful in the forest woodland, they usually make a lot of noise and can be heard by silent opponents before they can attack.
ThunderClan are known to keep prisoners from the enemies during times of war to negotiate their peace or victory.
When hunting, ThunderClan are the only warriors to bunch their hindquarters before they leap to hunt their prey. They stalk slowly and carefully, making sure they don't bother leaves or snap any twigs, hiding behind tree stumps, ferns, and other brush. Hunting in the trees has been a lost skill in ThunderClan for cycles (years) - mostly due to their heavy builds, although still learn how to climb and retrieve small birds.

Stories in ThunderClan are sacred.
As the most narrative-driven of the Clans, part of their identity is built on honoring the past and telling stories that inspire courage. Tales are passed from retiree to cadet, mentor to kit, creating a world where every cat wants to embody their heroes.
...But here, they aren't just stories.
You see, ThunderClan cats like to add more flair and exaggerate when telling stories of particularly legendary warriors. The more unique, the greater that warrior is remembered.
In the future, Retirees will tell their kits of Firestar's tale, how Sunspirit blessed him with fire instead of fur, eyes like burning stars, and claws kissed by Sunspirit himself. Kits believe he blinded evil with his presence and walked through darkness without fear. They will speak of how he could beat his enemies with one swipe, even the evil Tigerstar.
Even an "average" warrior may be shaped by these stories: Such as the popular tale of Sandstorm, who could scent prey before leaving their burrows, and never failed a catch during her lifetime. Or the tale of Goosefeather, the only Seer who could see as much as Silverpelt herself.
It's part of their culture, and stories may become more twisted with time. "A warrior will never die as long as their story lives on" - a common ThunderClan motto.
ThunderClan cats are usually the most active at sunhigh. Early dawn and dusk are usually times of rest and sharing tongues. The reason is due to the shelter the canopy provides from the burning heat.
ThunderClan cats usually choose mates later in life, believing a warrior should understand themselves before they understand another. They joke that "your heart shouldn’t lead before your paws do."
Cadets usually score claw marks on the base of the Great Sycamore on their first tour of the territory, and reaching a specific branch on the Sycamore is whispered to "guarantee one's paws have Thunderstar's blessing."
They value physical warmth and touch more than any other Clan. ThunderClan cats share tongues often, lean on each other shamelessly, and curl in sprawling communal piles in leaf-bare. Close friends butt heads, brush their flanks, and lay their tails around each other's backs in comfort without complaint.
