“Duck.”  There’s no hesitation in his answer after she asks.  He doesn’t even question why she’s asking in the first place, he knows but from weird, he’s seen a thing or two, and he’s come to accept that the hypothetical today might be the I hate magic of tomorrow.  Actually, scratch that:  The hypothetical of today becomes the I hate magic of tomorrow way too often to just be a coincidence.

He knows a thing or two about probability, too, after all.
