Connor’s back hit the wall, the pressure on his chest enough to keep him pinned. Gloved hands pressed the wall behind him, almost trying to keep himself balanced because honestly, he’d never see this coming. He swallowed nerves in his throat as he felt his cheeks darken, warming under the stare.

“Kara,” He said, thanking anything that might listen his voice didn’t break. “What’s gotten into you?”

Lena was sitting at the table, working from home since there had been some freak out with her staff. She wasn’t willing to go back to the building with her family at home though. Glancing up at Alex and then to their daughter, she promised herself when they agreed to adopt that she would never put work before her family, especially during off-business hours. Smiling, she called the employee and told them they would have to handle it on their own and she would look it over in the morning if they didn’t figure it out. 

Standing up, she pressed a kiss to Alex’s lips, “Then cuddles she shall get.” Lena started towards Aisling’s room before turning back to Alex, “Are you coming too? Family cuddles?”

Hi, I'm so excited for the next zine! I was wondering what criteria the mods look for when it comes to picking out the writers for a zine?

Hi! After two years of the zine including fiction we have a level of skill we are looking to match and build on.

For writing applications we would like to see how well you understand Kara and Lena separately as characters AND together as Supercorp in your fic. We’ll also be looking at your base writing skill level at a glance, however please let us know if English isn’t your first language. Many of our contributors have English as a second language, so we understand that not everyone has the best grasp on this Frankenstein’d mess. If we accept someone who struggles with grammar and spelling in English we have people on board ready to help assist them.

You do NOT have to submit with just Supercorp, but it would be very helpful if at least one of your writing submissions were Supercorp.

You may also APPLY with angst. However angst is not accepted into the zine itself as this is a celebration of Supercorp!

We will also be asking if you (and ALL applicants) will be able to dedicate the time and effort to participate. It seems like an odd question, but the zine is a very lengthy process and we want to know that you can commit to being on board for a couple months!

Please let us know if you need more clarification!

“Gonna be honest, all actual super-heroing was done by Supergirl, I did some normal persoing and I actually helped a guy start therapy, and found two jobs to two people who came to my family’s company for help. We gave them a home, and food, and a professional course..” she had taken her jacket off while speaking, and was rummaging in her bag, “Long story short, now they can finally work too. No saving the world but lots of helping out. Loved it.”  She dropped a paper bag with a pastry in it on his lap, then dropped herself on the couch next to him, and offered Winn a rose, holding it up with a smile: “Hi babe.”
