Embracing Fear, Chapter 25
Read here: AO3 | FFN
Summary: Back at the Nuragumi main house in the aftermath of Kagome’s attack, more discussions are had and emails are received.
Excerpt:
“Good to see you again, Kagome-sama. We wondered when Rikuo-sama would bring you home, but we didn’t expect him to do it quite so dramatically…” Kejōrō said, eyes sparkling and a playful grin across her lips.
“You didn’t?” Kubinashi snorted. “As if any Nura man wouldn’t be dramatic.”
That artist moment when...
You’re working on a fanart of a fanfic. You message the writer to be sure to get some details right cause one character has a tattoo.
You then make ANOTHER fanart SPECIFICALLY to map out the tattoos. Then you go ham and look up how to make a custom brush in procreate so you don’t kill your self doing flower detailing a bajillion times over.
(Then stop to take a break because the iPad is almost dead and make a tumblr post about it all.)
Shoutout to @shell-senji for writing a story I love so much I’m actually doing this.
I know it’s scary, but I also know that you can do this.
Embracing Fear, Chapter 24

Summary: Before we return to the Nuragumi main house and the aftermath of Kagome’s attack, you’ll catch a glimpse of a certain foxy old friend of hers.
Excerpt: As her brain caught up to the words that had spewed forth of their own volition, she went rigid, snapping her mouth shut. A slow-moving sense of dread oozed through her, the panic that followed in its wake causing her stomach to clench. Holy hell, what had she done—no, what had she said?
Embracing Fear, Chapter 23
In which Rikuo has a case of the Mondays (and Kagome too, to be fair).
You can read this chapter either on AO3 or FFnet

In which Rikuo discusses his past and he and Kagome grow a little closer.
One year ago today, I started the long fic I told myself I’d never write. But I did anyway, and here we are. Happy one-year anniversary, Embracing Fear!
