Hi I just found your page and I was wondering if you had any advice on how to get started in the autistic community here? I've never been part of a community like this since being diagnosed 4 years ago, either online or in person, and so I made this blog with the purpose of meeting people I can connect with and relate to (which I've badly been needing). So far I haven't had any followers or people to talk to, so that's why I'm needing help with getting started if you might know any tips.

Hi I just wanted to say that I don't think you're an anti-autistic ablelist as one anon declared. I think those personal attacks against you were completely unwarranted. I think Lydia being upset with Alec was not treating him like a child, she literally didn't even yell. I even went back and watched the scene just now to be sure. I believe that part is being blown way out of proportion. But that's just my personal autistic opinion :)

There's no harm in starting the books to see if you'll like them. Everyone has different opinions, so maybe you'll like them and maybe you won't (you might get the first book, City of Bones, from a library instead of buying it if you're not sure you'll like it and don't want to give money to the author). The book that's all about Magnus is called The Bane Chronicles and it can be read as a standalone.

Thank you for the input. I honestly forgot about the library. There’s literally one around the corner from my house. I’ll have to go on their webpage and see if they have the books. Great!! :D
