The 22nd of February 2014. Pretty freaking amazing day, if you ask me. It was the day when I started talking to my best friend. I’ve talked to a lot of people in my days. very few of them sicked around for very long. But here we are, Sama! TWO YEARS later. Two Years, and I’m still awestruck every time I think about you. I still pull a face that’s made more that one person thinking that I’m in love, when in reality I’m thinking about our last conversation. I know it’s cheesy as hell, but you are the first thing i think about in the morning. The first thing I do after waking up is always checking skype, just to see if you’ve screamed about Star Wars or whatever while I’ve been asleep. When I met you, I was a mess. But through these two years I’ve figured out so much about myself. My gender identity and my sexuality, as well as how my brain works. I’ve finally started to accept myself. And, occasionally, I even think about myself in a positive manner. I’ve gotten so far, Sama, thanks to your support. I know that no matter what I need to talk about ( be it deep personal issues or the tragedies of a character from a fandom you’re not in ) I know that you’ll listen. And if you’re not online at the moment, you’ll read it when you’ve got the time. HONESTLY I JUST APPRECIATE YOU SO FREAKING MUCH OKAY!? I overheard my mom telling this to my dad a few weeks ago; “I’m so happy she’s found in a best friend what many married couples don’t have.” AND IT’S SO TRUE? When my friends describe to me what it feels like to be in love, honestly I don’t get why they don’t get a Sama instead?! Because having somebody around who loves you even when you’re being whiny is so amazing tbh. Words can’t describe how freaking lucky I am to have you!? I treasure your friendship.
