hi! just wanted to say that i really really really REALLY loved "a warlord's conscience". i read it over a year ago, i think, but it's such a wonderful fic and so well-written! your writing style, your pacing, the emotions, everything is just *chef kiss*. and so many good concepts!! kyouka inheriting kouyou's position!! yosano's refusal to back down when it comes to being a doctor! but also, kouyou not being corrupted by power, but still being strong enough to do what she has to do!! (1/2)
and speaking of that, how you portray kouyou and yosano's conflicting worldviews regarding the war and how it'll be resolved! her dynamic with chuuya is a treat, as well as the dazai-chuuya interactions. and i have to say, the scene where kouyou announces they'll be leaving, bc she won't have the village becoming a "casualty" (and yosano subsequently coming with her on her own accord) is nothing short of delightful. anyways, thanks so much for writing it
