My darling friends, the absolute SCREAM I SCREMT
it was unfortunately caught on tape but oh well
A-MA-ZING commission done of Emeris and Lucanis by @bipirate that I got for my birthday from @the-punslinger @shinylayatha and @characterarc (among a few other co-conspirarors that do not have Tumblr). I still cannot believe this exists. I still cannot believe I can make one silly comment on my Em powerpoint that brought me to the point where this EXISTS and I can HOLD IT?!?!? IN MY HANDS?!?!?!?!?!
I just
My babies
I i'm gonna cry again now okay thank you
Emeris Laidir
Woah buddy has this one been a long time in the making because it took me forever to get her position right and figure out how to do the dress. But, here is Emeris Laidir as part of a ballroom dancing AU. Em belongs to the most wonderful @sucksinlosers. Her dress is inspired by Sabrina Carpenters dress in the music video for "Tears."
Please admire her freckles and shimmery eye-shadow and ballroom hair. I had a lot of fun with them.

darling @babydinosaur930 tagged me and i remembered that I did, in fact, wrote something dumb and told her about it! so. might as well.
"You love me." Lucanis paused, frowning lightly as he looked up from the pot of broth he had been hovering over. "That's a… surprise to you?" he murmured, looking to the chaise where Em had now moved, draping herself over the armrest on her stomach instead of laying sprawled across the seat. She looked… oddly serious. That did not help him discern if she had asked him a question or simply made a statement. Em, on her part, looked a little flustered suddenly. She cleared her throat, for a moment terribly interested in one of the crystal torches affixed to the wall before finally, almost shyly, turning her gaze back to him. "…No?" she attempted, poorly trying to find an answer that would soothe him over without much hassle. When he did not respond and instead frowned at her some more, she groaned softly, buring her face into the plush, teal fabric of the chaise's armrest. "Sometimes." Lucanis smiled, endeared both by her confession and her uncharacteristic shyness. "Sometimes, you are surprised I love you?" "Andraste's- can you just pretend I didn't say anything?" Em moaned; though she did not look up, Lucanis could tell from even here she was blushing - the tips of her ears were turning red. Smiling still, Lucanis wiped his hands on the dishcloth slung over his shoulder, his broth momentarily forgotten. As tempting as it was to continue teasing her, Lucanis recognized her initial… question? was born from an insecurity she was steadily growing more comfortable displaying to him. Whether she recognized that herself, or not. He cherished the fact she trusted him with something as precious and fragile as that. "I could," he mused, crossing his arms over his chest as he leaned against the chaise. "But I do not think that I will." "But the broth-" "Broth's fine. Talk to me, cara."
I tag whoever wants to because. idk. i'm not your mom. figure it out.
Unveiling another piece. Featuring Lucanis and the lovely Emeris Laidir from @sucksinlosers after I went snoop snooping through her screenshots.
For Lucanis and Em: first time Lucanis and Em appeared at a Crow function together where Illario *wasn't* trying to murder them? 😂
I've. Stared at this entirely too long now, so I think I'm just gonna let it go and see what it does. ^^;
Em didn’t like this dress.
Not because it wasn’t pretty. Teia had picked it, a conspiratorial little grin on her face as she held it up to Em’s frame and debated on where to have it taken in. ‘Hair up,’ she had said, gathering Em’s silvery blonde hair at the back of her head. She’d wrinkled her nose briefly at the display of scars now revealed, curling over Em’s shoulders and knitting together at the base of her neck, but remained steadfast in her decision.
It was a pretty dress. And Em looked pretty, for sure. But it was heavy. Layers, deep, rich purples and beautifully woven fabrics… and expectations. So many expectations.
WIP Wednesday
honest to god i don't remember if this is in response to @babydinosaur930's most recent tag or not, but i don't care. 70s au 70s au 70s au
Neve Gallus stood quietly in the penthouse suite of Locupleto, her cigarette holder hovering an inch from her lips. The techies had left; the bodies had been bagged and carefully loaded for transfer to the morgue, and the place had been carefully dusted, anything they could gather catalogued. She was left only with the yellow evidence markers and the blood, starkly contrasting against the lush, white marble on the floor. Neve stood quietly, and thought. Not of the murders, themselves - those were easily explained. No fingerprints, no signs of forced entry at the front door. The small caliber bullet the techies had pulled from the door frame of the bathroom was not going to match any bullets they had on record. The blood splatter was kept to a minimum. In the past two weeks, she had seen three other scenes exactly like this. Clean. Efficient. Crows. 'Why, then,' Neve thought, prosthetic leg clicking against the marble tile as she shifted her weight. 'Are we pursuing this?'
Oh my goddddd all those years of writing CSI fanfiction in my teens are finally paying off hahaha

"Fuck!" Lucanis watched as the lighter sailed through the air and quickly disappeared into the darkness, keeping his eyes trained on the middle distance for a moment longer as he debated his next step. It was unlikely Em was looking for company - she had not retreated all the way to the truck for no reason - but, at the same time… he did not think that reason enough to leave her alone. Odd. Back against the passenger side door, he cast his gaze up at the night sky. The burning light of his cigarette made for a paltry approximation of the starlight that glittered above them. So many stars, out here in the middle of nowhere. He hadn't noticed that before. Lucanis remained silent as he heard Em shift in the bed of the truck, kept his eyes on the sky above even as she sucked in a surprised breath, finally having noticed him. "Andraste's fucking- Is that a Crow thing too, or just your particular brand of fuckery?" she complained softly, a hand hovering over her chest to try and soothe her heart. "Half your kill count is people just dropping dead from sheer fucking shock. Fuck." "Wouldn't say half," he murmured. A beat passed; she glared at him, then rolled her eyes. "Good thing your knives aren't as dull as your fucking jokes." Lucanis felt the corner of his mouth quirk. He took the cigarette from between his lips and held it out to her without looking; from the corner of his eyes, though he coould tell Em was eying it warily. "I didn't poison these," he offered. Em gave him a dubious look. "Well, forgive me for not trusting world's most famous assassin on his word and his big brown eyes," she snapped. Still, she scooted closer to him from the safety of the truck bed, leaning over the side holding a cigarette of her own. Finally, he tore his eyes away from the stars overhead, giving her a sideway glance. "Careful. Getting awful close to stabbing distance." Em huffed, motioning for him to turn further toward her. "Everything within sixty feet of you is stabbing distance," she grumbled around her cigarette. "'Sides, you're not gonna stab me." As if sensing her intent, Lucanis brought his cig back to his lips and turned to her. "On account of the truck." She did not reply to him straight away, too focused on her immediate task. She leaned over the side of the truck toward him, awfully close toward him, touching her unlit cigarette to the burning end of his. Dutifully, he sucked in a few breaths, the embers glowing a little brighter. Em had enough freckles in her face to rival the amount of stars in the sky. Lucanis wondered why he noticed it.
