More from our awesome tour of @frank_brothers #Guitar Co. yesterday. Here we have #Toronto singer, songwriter, and #guitarplayer @evanjamesredsky holding a #FrankBrothers Signature model in #CremonaBurst. One of the first things I noticed was how light weight these #guitars are. The brothers told me they strive to keep each of their guitars under 7.5 lbs. And if you know me, hearing that come from a luthier just tickled me all shades of pink! I LOVE lightweight guitars! 😀 Frank Brothers use wiring harnesses by @emersoncustom - this was the first time I had played an instrument with #EmersonCustom “guts” despite knowing Mitch on Facebook and following him for several years, and I must say the sound was fabulous and the controls smooth as silk with nice even tapering. I hate it when the taper on a pot is like “off...off...off...FULLY ON”, but these were really gradual and, as I said, really controllable.
