Not So Ageless [RP with vitaarcana]
Midori facepalmed and groaned loudly. This was big sis specialty, not his. Sure, he liked kids, but she could handle them way better.
“…Well…your name is Emil, kid…And right now we are in a house in a magical place…And I’m your babysitter, who was visiting your older brother…Ratatosk…yeah.”
God, did he feel awkward about this. He only came here because of Emil’s invitation and now he was in some anime filler episode.
vitaarcana
“...Older Brother? ...Rato...tax?”
The little boy tilted his head. He looked so confused.
“That’s a weird name... So difficult to say, too... A-And... I’m... ‘Emil’?”
The boy looked up at Midori again.
“Really? It doesn’t sound familiar at all...” Saying this, the little boy seemed sad. There were tiny tears in his eyes. “B-But... I guess I have to be. I mean, if I’m not that ‘Emil’, then... who am I...?”
truemansamejima:
The passionate battle cries of his companions filled Samejima with even more disposition to kick his enemy’s ass, which he promptly went to do the next few seconds. The started a combo sequence of punches and kicks against the leader slime, not seemingly minding the flames that were taking over his clothes. In the middle of his barrage, the Fire Slime (as I’ll call it from now on) casted a fire spell that hit him fully, consuming his body in flames. Is that it? Was that the last assault of our man?
“Whew, that was a close one! Thanks for the help, Sensei.” All of a sudden, Samejima reappeared by Xion’s side, completely unharmed by the spell while looking at a mental figure of his (supposed) mentor. Seems like his Manly Aura acted just in time for him to deny all the damage he suffered until now via a bullcrap manly excuse yet again.
“Woooooow! You have a Sensei too!!”
Teddie was feeling like among kindred bears!
Meanwhile, Xion’s logical mind had kicked in and was alarming her to how much BS exactly had just happened.
“B-But... You just burned... Fire... I saw... How are you...?” She shook her head. “This. Makes. No. Sense.”
“Who cares about making sense!? We’ve got an ass to kick!!”
Emil threw himself at what was left of the enemy slime to make sure it would be deader than dead.
Given how Ratatosk was very prone to the Worf Effect, this could clearly only end well.
Memories of Mithos [RP with indignantjudgment]

indignantjudgement:
“Well, as Mithos, he was a pretty cool guy. Though we didn’t really get to spend all that much time together. I’d like to think we were good friends though.“
Genis sighed.
“As Yggdrasil though, he was ruthless and generally not a good person. The years he spent without Martel really did a number on his sanity.”
“...”
As Genis talked, Emil tried to keep himself together, but he could feel his fingers curl up to fists against his will and his body tension up more and more, until a spike of heat rose up in him.
“Hmpf. That fool. He did always cling to her too much...”
There was deep spite in Emil’s voice, but also sadness.
“I kept telling him ‘Have some self-respect’ and ‘Stop relying on Martel for everything’, but he would just ignore me and continue raving about his sister. It was an annoying pain in the ass. I should have beat it out of him when I still had the chance...”
Despite the obvious anger in Emil’s - Ratatosk’s - words, the melancholy only continued to become more obvious.
