Joanna: “I’m just saying, our mother died last night, I feel like we should get a pass for not finishing this.”

Hallie: “Well, unfortunately your mother has... passed away. Just a little while ago actually.”

Joanna: “What!? No!!”

H: “I know, I know. It’s alright to be upset, so am I. Your mother and I were both getting pretty old so I knew it was coming, I just didn’t think it was going to be so soon, she still had so much zest for life. And I’m sorry for not preparing you guys for this sooner, before it was too late.”
