Years of misunderstandings from both sides mar his past and make it impossible to look back without questioning every single second shared between him and Tim.
OR: Alex finds out that everyone, and Tim, thinks they are dating.
Smoke that cigar with mommy. And don’t cough.
i think something to keep in mind is that some autistic people can't just go without a diagnosis. my autism is so pervasive in my life that i need my psych and medical teams to be aware of it. i need to be able to solidly say, "i am autistic and here's proof" so that some people will listen to me when i explain what specifically i struggle with. i need to be able to tell my doctor, "i am autistic and need to use text to speech to communicate with you today because of that fact". some higher support needs autistic people go without a diagnosis for years and they still need to be able to access professional help for their symptoms. it's not as simple as just "don't get a diagnosis, they're doing eugenics!" like i'm sorry it does suck that this is happening but i need the people in my life to be aware of my autism so that i can get the help i need, and i'm not the only one. if you can go without - great. awesome. but it is not my fault that i need my diagnosis, that i need professional help to manage my autism, that i can't always hide my autism, that masking is extremely harmful for me, and that the united states government is pulling this eugenicist shit.
im going to be so real with you i dont want to change the way i present myself as i get older like people already think its weird for a 20 year to dress the way i do why would i give a fuck about turning like 30
