Walk in Traffic | Lena and Émile
Lena didn't do many things on a whim. Small things could be done at the drop of a hat but anything more than deciding to go get coffee in the middle of the night to get her though studying for a tough exam required a little more thought and planning. The only exception seemed to be tattoos. Ironic, because of the permanence of injecting ink into her skin seemed far more likely to have lasting consequences than contemplating which electives to take. But of the three she had, only one had been given any serious thought and that had taken less than a day to decide on the most recent design on the inside of her biceps.
When the bell rang overhead as she pushed through the door was “I should have called first.” The tattoo parlor didn't look particularly busy, but Lena wasn't even sure if they took walk ins. Let alone walk ins for something so trivial as touching up an old and faded act of rebellion from when she was eighteen. Lena was free from crippling social anxiety and seemed to plague most of the people she knew, but she hated the creeping feeling that she might be imposing on a very busy artist.
The waiting room was nearly empty, probably par for the course for just past noon on a Thursday. And obviously, the place hadn't changed all that much from the last time she'd been here just over a month ago. Her nerves seemed to be soothed a bit as she approached the counter and find the man who had done the ink on her arm, hidden at the moment by the sleeve of her shirt. Emile, she remembered. Nice and patient with her when pain turned her into a complete wimp. “Um,” she muttered quietly, standing on the balls of her feet as she leaned over the counter, “hi? I don't know if you remember me...” Lena smiled nervously and chewed lightly on the corner of her lip before continuing. “You did work on my arm a few months ago.”

Whoa, cool: somebody made fanart of this music video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDX2qZ1UPzE
Emile Simon's "Flowers", which is a bit cliche as far as stop motion horror music videos go, but has stuck with me ever since I saw it on Bravo!

Desert, Emile Simon
Best chilled lounge song ever.
Good with cocktail parties or a long bath or drinking wine on patios at dusk.
Where is the sea? I don't why I was just looking for the sea, But the only thing I found was a desert A desert around me.
(english translation, song is in french)
