Image transfer, which Émilie Léger uses in many of her artworks, is a base technique that she describes as "controlled coincidence". She finds it so appealing because, first, she can obtain a relatively predictable technical result. Then, she then takes it to the next level (visually) by using a variety of traditional techniques that end up uncovering an entirely different intriguing and multi-textural work of art. 🎨ARTWORK DETAILS🎨 Artist: Emilie Léger (@emilie.leger.art) Title: "Antipodes" Medium: Image transfer, acrylic painting and collage on wood panel.
