Welcome to an episode of cody rants about Gen-esis, for todays episode we will be discussing : Gen-esis and what nails they would have casually with explanations

( I say casually because they are all wearing some type of acrylics during the venomous and hyp3 ♡ eras 🙂‍↕️)

Kai :

- cute, practical and simple

- he fits the "performative male" aesthetic so well IM SORRY

- but i feel like he would LOVE simple nails like french tips

- they didn't actually get into all the nail stuff until probably the boys & girls era where he started getting more comfortable with his identity and allat

- i dunno whenever I think of them I think of those pretty, glittery, and glossy french tip nails 🥹

Emilio :

- star nails for the groups starboy

- definitely didn't do anything with them at first until people called him starboy and he went "well shit let's go!" and just kept them

- paints them himself and they lwk look like shit but it's the thought that counts 💔

- keeps them long enough to actually paint them and not ever any longer

- kai + shou eventually convince him to start putting at least a coat of gloss on them so they look less crusty

Noah :

- the groups nail biter

- was a chronic nail bitter during we:next and pre-debut/f0cus era because he was not used to all the attention (he still isn't)

- puts acrylics on for the job but also because they make him feel pretty sometimes!!

- will prolly never wear acrylics casually though because they hurt his nails

- learned how to paint the others nails on the venomous tour and likes to paint nails and is trying to learn complex stuff for shou 🙏

Yuu :

- nails that are taken care of but he doesn't care about painting them

- prefers his nails on the shorter side because originally he wanted to play piano for a j-pop band

- definitely lets noah, charlie and shou use his nails as a practice canvas but removes the paint like an hour later

- recovered nail bitter, currently trying to help noah stop nail biting (emphasis on the trying)

- def uses nail serum for his cuticles though

Shou :

- canonically dresses in scene styles so he gets scene nails

- medium length, square shaped nails

- pointed, long (ish BUT still good for the job), and a little glittery

- makes the groups acrylic sets for mcountdown/inkigayo/tours and has a pinterest board for design inspo

- loves painting the others nails as practice and is teaching noah how to paint nails on bases and actual nails

Charlie :

- short black nails because he plays electric guitar and you CANNOT have long nails for allat

- started painting his nails black because it made him feel more masculine. He uses the cheap shit from like target too 😭

- short, rounded shaped nails with ofc a glossy cover for a more masc vibe

- actually likes chunky nails (like with the 3D stuff on em) and wears them for shows (per his request to shou)

- paints his own nails + uses nail serum. Will never go to an actual place because he hates the smell of nail places
