Halloween costume idea: baroque sunflower

I was thinking about ruffs recently and how some actually used to be colored blue or yellow. AND THEN i was looking at Halloween costume ideas and I saw some PvZ costumes (lore drop: i LOVEEE PvZ!!!!) and it all came together. BAROQUE SUNFLOWER COSTUME!!!!! And I was thinking about a falling collar under the ruff acting as a leaf. And then the flappy things (?) on the doublet being like leaves too. And I kept developing it from there.

Emilien, the Little Green Alien

Emilien’s species of alien is Chezeith Auran.

There are many different subspecies of Aurans who have settled on different planets, solar systems, and even galaxies. All Aurans are the classic humanoid alien with big and black eyes, small mouth, small or no nose, and antennae. Chezeith Aurans have green skin color. Chezeith is a big planet with a strong gravitational pull, so Chezeith Aurans are small but very dense and strong. The tallest Chezeith Aurans are about 145cm/ 4’8.

They’re social creatures, and through cooperation they have become a very advanced society. They often befriend other species of aliens who are also very advanced to exchange knowledge and technology. Unfortunately, not all species of aliens are friendly. Humans, for example, have been reported to rip out the antennae of aliens who are unfortunate enough to be known. To prevent that from happening, aliens often disguise themselves as humans in order to study Earth.

Emilien is a part of a whole team of aliens whose mission is to study the sciences of Earth. Zoology, botany, biology, geology, and much more. Emilien is one of the alien researchers who specializes in biology. Emilien and his team of aliens were first projected to land on Earth in 1621 in Earth years. A random meteor hit his ship during transit. Luckily, there was no damage and it only slowed down just below ideal speeds. The total transit time for Emilien was about half an hour. The meteor added only a minute of delay, but he actually landed on Earth a few centuries later. Now, Emilien needs to learn about modern humans in order to blend in as well as his original research on Earth biology.

I will come out with more designs for Emilien’s outfits. Baroque Sci-fi autism will not rest until I do.

WE’RE BRINGING FUNKII FOX BACK WITH THIS ONE

I used the sketch of last post. I just felt like the oil pastels didn’t do it justice.

I also went back to ibis paint. I just don’t like the brushes of iArtbook; they’re for a different art style. But the main reason for doing this in ibis paint was bc in iArtbook, you have to watch an ad to use a lot of the more advanced tools, including uploading a picture. I can’t remember the length of the ad i was forced to watch once, but it was too long. Plus, i didn’t even need to watch an ad to use brushes in inis paint bc i was at school and i usually have bad wifi there.

Valeri, Jiang, and Emilio thought it would be cute to be various orange cats for King’s Day, in order of biggest to smallest. Valeri is a lion, Jiang is a tiger, and Emilio is a little orange house cat.

Or it was supposed to be from biggest to smallest. I thought lions were bigger than tigers but they’re actually smaller?!?!?!

Emilio, Valeri, and Jiang used to cuddle in the same bed. It’s not gay!!! It’s for warmth!! Also, as poor college students, they only had one bed when they first moved into their new apartment. It ended up staying that way until they moved out.

Valeri is a big guy and takes up 75% of the bed, but there isn’t enough room on his chest for both Emilio and Jiang. Jiang usually is the one that gets to be on Valeri’s chest like a babe. Meanwhile Emilio opts to sleep on Valeri’s giant bicep, armpit in face. It’s all good though, because Valeri keeps them warm throughout the night.

I just know the king’s advisors would have Émile marry the tallest, most convenient princess nearby. The king, none the wiser, just goes with whatever his advisors say. So they technically have the choice of who the youngest prince marries.

They’re not going to destroy diplomacy at the expense of making fun of Émile, but at the same time it’s important to them that they degrade the masculinity and reputation of the prince.

Little do they know, that’s what the prince wants!!!! You should’ve seen the look on their faces when he instantly fell in love with his tall wife-to-be.
