Valeri face references!!!
I was scrolling the 1560s-1590s tags from history-of-fashion and accidentally found the perfect references for my oc Valeri.
1st one: 1560 Hermann tom Ring - Eberwin III, Count of Bentheim-Steinfurt / Westphalian State Museum of Art and Cultural History
2nd one: 1592 Artist inscribed H. Boss - Portrait of a Gentleman / Bowes Museum
He has grey-blue eyes. His eye shape is kind of tilted downwards towards the outer corner of his eyes. He looks naturally tired with circles under his eyes.
Strong brow bone and thick, full eyebrows. His eyebrows are more like the man on the right, except they’re more square. His eyebrows are also kinda tense like he’s concentrating, even if he’s completely relaxed.
His mouth is thin and shaped like the guy on the left, but is pigmented like the guy on the right. In general his skin is pale like the man on the right with noticeable natural rosy blush on him. He also has freckles.
His nose is more like the guy on the left. It’s straight, long, and pointed down. It’s also quite thin.
His face is long and kind of pointy like the man on the left.
Valeri has short, strawberry blonde hair. He has it buzzed shorter than both of these men and his color is more blonde. He doesn’t have facial hair either. He doesn’t feel like taking care of his hair when he could just shave it off! He lets his hair grow to no more than half of a centimeter before shaving again and keeps his stubble as close as possible by shaving every day. BUT he does have an immaculate hairline. It’s full and square with a point at the middle.
