Valeri, Jiang, and Emilio thought it would be cute to be various orange cats for King’s Day, in order of biggest to smallest. Valeri is a lion, Jiang is a tiger, and Emilio is a little orange house cat.

Or it was supposed to be from biggest to smallest. I thought lions were bigger than tigers but they’re actually smaller?!?!?!

Emilio, Valeri, and Jiang used to cuddle in the same bed. It’s not gay!!! It’s for warmth!! Also, as poor college students, they only had one bed when they first moved into their new apartment. It ended up staying that way until they moved out.

Valeri is a big guy and takes up 75% of the bed, but there isn’t enough room on his chest for both Emilio and Jiang. Jiang usually is the one that gets to be on Valeri’s chest like a babe. Meanwhile Emilio opts to sleep on Valeri’s giant bicep, armpit in face. It’s all good though, because Valeri keeps them warm throughout the night.

I really enjoy the idea of like, the Jiang heir being the kid of one of Jiang Cheng’s disciples. But for the purpose of amusement the kid is like 5 but he’s convinced that he has to be a good heir and keep people out of trouble. Not in a soul crushing ‘have to be perfect’ kind of way, but in a ‘Sect Leader said I Had to Make Sure Cousin A-Ling Eats and I Will Do That!” Child-like definitely took an offhand comment too far.

So like usually the kid is a sweetheart who does his best to listen during classes and sits with his dad during meetings to learn how to be a Good Sect Leader (He’s napping, they all know he’s napping but Jiang Cheng doesn’t have the heart to tell him to wake up so they just talk quieter), but sometimes!!

Sometimes Jin Ling won’t say hi as soon as he visits so little Yusen has to go track him down and Sect Leader Jin now has a five year old stuck to his back with Yusen’s body guards trailing behind confusedly. Jiang Cheng says for Yusen not to be a brat and get off, and Yusen says “This is Cousin A-Ling’s punishment!” And well… Jiang Cheng can’t say anything about that, you broke the rules A-Ling you know you have to say hi to Yusen first.

Wei Wuxian comes to visit and it’s not the Jiang Disciples he has to impress, it’s little Yusen who is staring him down from across the room after breaking into Sect Leader’s office. Yusen doesn’t even know what the fight between Sect Leader and Wei Wuxian is about, he just knows that Jiang Cheng looked sad when Cousin A-Ling said Wei Wuxian wasn’t going to visit last month. Which means it’s Yusen’s job as heir!!! To vet this new disciple!!! Before he joins the sect!!

Jiang Cheng doesn’t even know what that means, he doesn’t even vet the new disciples he just throws them at his trainers and lets them figure it out. Who’s teaching this kid this shit?
