Tyler + Tyler Stevenson’s Dripping Springs wedding at Tuscan Hall 

That’s right! These two amazing people now share the same exact name :) I am so happy to have had the chance to work with this incredible couple and call them my friends. My husband and I had the opportunity to spend the entire weekend with them and their families and friends! So much love was shown by all! Very proud of my husband for doing a great job officiating their ceremony.

Their wedding was definitely one for the books! I still can’t get over how beautiful everything was. The bride and groom’s vision came together so perfectly. Tuscan Hall was the perfect venue for them, so gorgeous at every corner.

To the happy couple- I believe you both are truly soulmates. The love you have for one another is a unique and wonderful bond, and I have no doubt that you will be together, traveling and dancing and being silly with one another until the day you part from the earth. You’re a joy to be around!

Alaina + Cody - 4.21.18 at The Barn in Kountze, TX

I had a wonderful day with Alaina and Cody at one of my favorite venues in Southeast Texas- The Barn, where my husband and I got married a few years ago! This couple is just too cute and so is there sweet son. It was such a pleasure working with them. 

Alaina did such an amazing job with the floral work- her sense of style is very unique and whimsical! I highly recommend her if you need a great florist for your wedding. She owns Boldly Floral and works out of Lumberton, TX! 

A huge thanks to Courtney Stacey for shooting along side of me. Always a joy to work with you girl!

Congratulations to the McCaslands! Wishing you many many years of happiness!

Audrey + Douglas 3.10.18 Houston, TX

The Waldrep’s tied the knot at one of the most adorable, unique venues that I’ve ever seen - Avant Garden on Westheimer in the heart of downtown Houston. This three story bar and restaurant was the perfect wedding venue for this unique couple! It fit their style and personality completely. Everything from the stringed lights, the paper globe lanterns to the rose petal toss and the oversized floral center pieces placed all over every room- it was as perfect as they were! The turn out of guests from so many different cities and states was amazing- you could feel how loved this couple really was! There wasn’t one person there without a genuine smile on their face and happy to be there celebrating Audrey and Doug’s union.

I myself had such a wonderful time! For a while I have been sick, and this was my first big wedding in a few weeks. It was a delight to drive in from Austin and essentially have a reunion with my friends, plus work a gorgeous wedding with one of my favorite people. I was not expecting half of the guests to be from my home town! Thank you to my wonderful friend and assistant Courtney Stacey for lending me a hand- you’re amazing girl. I appreciate you so much.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Waldrep! They recently came home from an extended stay in Japan, what an amazing place to honeymoon !!! I’d expect nothing less from such a special couple like Audrey and Doug. It was pleasure working with you both, and may you have a lifetime of marital bliss!

I am so excited to be delivering Jacob and Bryan’s wedding this weekend! This was one of the most elegant and emotional weddings I photographed last year. I have known Jacob for many years, and I was SO excited when he asked me to be his photographer! I knew this was going to be such an incredible event. The set up was fantastic, the speeches were amazing, and this couple was so incredible - we couldn’t have asked for a better evening!!! 

I want to thank Jacob and Bryan for having me and my second shooter Courtney. We enjoyed every minute! Congratulations you two!

Tyler and Tyler’s engagement session - Autumn in Austin !

We pondered SO long on where to go for the perfect engagement session, every major park we wanted to visit was full on the weekends, other days were rained out, and nothing seemed to line up perfectly. On the day of the session Tyler and Tyler hopped in my car and we drove around, pulled over on the sides of roads ( making sure NOT to trespass haha ! ) and found such great locations that fit their visions perfectly! The results were exactly what we were going for!  I had such a fun time with “The Tylers” and I can’t wait for their upcoming wedding in the Spring! Ya’ll are amazing and shooting with you is such a pleasure.

I don’t always blog bridal sessions ... but when I do- they’re of beautiful princesses who are half mermaid- half goddess wearing a breathtaking ball gown that fits like a glove!  Seriously ... this woman and this dress brought water to my eyes when I first saw her all zipped up!  Monica, I am SO glad that you flew all the way from Pittsburgh to do your bridal session with me before the wedding in League City. It was one of the highlights of my year!

Monica is from Texas and grew up where I did, but she had to travel here and ship her precious dress down here from Pennsylvania for the wedding! When she sent me a cell phone shot of her dress at the store, my jaw dropped. I couldn’t wait to see her in the dress in person! We shot her session at The Butler’s Courtyard in League City, TX where she later had her wedding this past weekend. I cannot wait to share her weddings photos once I get caught up with my work. Literally, I have been dying to share these for two months now, and finally we can share them! YAY !!! Thanks for having me doll, you are just a treat to work with and a great friend to have !

Stephanie and Colton - Anniversary Session at the Sekrit Theater in Austin, TX.

I had the pleasure of meeting up with two of my friends this past month at a venue I stumbled upon in East Austin called the Sekrit Theater (this place is amazing!) They recently celebrated their one year anniversary! Stephanie and Colton were married last summer in Maui. Happy anniversary you two- may you have many many more to come! It was awesome working with ya’ll! Thanks so much for braving that Texas heat with me.

Hannah and Josh - 6.3.17 

The Tomlin’s were married at the lovely Book Nook Inn in Lumberton, TX, and I was so happy to be a part of their day! Hannah was an excellent planner- I loved how everything coordinated and came together! The decorations, the details, everything was so colorful and had that “personal touch” that really was unique! 

Her crew really did a great job with the entire set up. On my way to Lumberton I drove through some awful rain, we had no idea what the day was going to be like - but her team was out there literally decorating up a storm, ready for rain or shine! Thank goodness we never felt a drop until after the ceremony!  

I would like to thank my second shooter Jordan Holt for lending me a hand at this event- I appreciate your hard work girl ! 

To Josh and Hannah- I wish you nothing but happiness! Congratulations!  Thank you so much for having us.
