Alaina + Cody - 4.21.18 at The Barn in Kountze, TX

I had a wonderful day with Alaina and Cody at one of my favorite venues in Southeast Texas- The Barn, where my husband and I got married a few years ago! This couple is just too cute and so is there sweet son. It was such a pleasure working with them. 

Alaina did such an amazing job with the floral work- her sense of style is very unique and whimsical! I highly recommend her if you need a great florist for your wedding. She owns Boldly Floral and works out of Lumberton, TX! 

A huge thanks to Courtney Stacey for shooting along side of me. Always a joy to work with you girl!

A garden wedding in the heart of Beaumont, TX ! While Morgan and I were there … we sort of felt like we had stepped out of Beaumont and into another place ! They really transformed this backyard into a beautiful garden party, fit for the perfect intimate wedding for Sarah and Bruno.

Sarah walked down the aisle to a ukulele tune of “ I Can’t Help Falling in Love With You ” - I swear that song always gets me every time ! Her junior bridesmaid did a great job playing it. 

Her guests were so much fun!  They danced the night away on the back porch, the music was great and the food was fantastic ! Morgan Sessions and I had such a great time ! Thanks for second shooting with me girl, I always love your company .

Down By the Water - Part 1

Every year I get together with my favorite sisters and we collaborate on a new project ! I have been dying to do a bohemian styled bridal shoot and I think we nailed it !!! We hiked down to Village Creek and had the beach pretty much all to ourselves. 

The first dress pictured, worn by Hannah, is what encouraged me to make this all happen. This was my Aunt’s wedding gown and it was absolutely perfect for Hannah ! It fit like a glove, as if it were tailor made for her. I had a chance to wear it for my own bridal portraits, but I never had a chance to actually photograph it until now. The second dress is a vintage bridesmaid’s dress from the late 70′s that I’ve had for quite some time ! All of the bouquet’s were complete with adorable antique handkerchiefs. ( The bouquets and flower crowns were designed by Sarah herself, and yes- she is available to design one for you ! )

I hope this inspires some of my bride’s who aren’t quite sure what direction they want to take with their bridal portraits. Your loved ones may have the perfect pieces that could jump start your creative thinking !
